I don't know what to admire the most; The model or the cool figures explaining the build
Great work on those wheel housing.

I don't know, I've seen much better work before, I mean it's good but not worth falling all over ourselves over.

wow chuck, I'm sorry, you have me so enthralled by the pictures that I forget to read the rest! Do we get a sneak peek at those pictures????
Anyway, FANTASTIC build, as if you haven't been told that enough already. You are an amazing builder, and I can't wait to see some color on this beast.

I wish I could show you all what I've been drawing at work, but that's streng verboten for now!
I've been futzing around with a bunch of miscellaneous crapola on the build. Sooner or later I'm going to have to close up the fuselage, but in the meantime there's so many little things to do !

Hi Chuck,
I've been watching this thread with awe for the last few weeks. Your attention to detail is immense. Can't wait to see the finished plane.
Mike.

Thanks, gents. Matt, you've read my mind- I'll be adding another character to the mix soon, but first...
Well, I had a fair amount of time at the bench- and even a little at the beach, too. It's bikini season in LA- WOOF!! ;D But back to building...

That's a mess? Hah. I got you beat this time.
Those radio dials are off the hook. What a great way to make the pre-coloured etch look even better.
Hey Chuck.... nice tie!

you must have been using rosin core solder to get those perforations in the dials?

Thanks, Darek- a big spacibo from Los Angeles!
You're right there, Vance- although the label on the spool is loong gone! Digital photography picks up the darnedest things...
Rrrrright! Thank you gentlemen! You may be seated...
I was busy with some freelance yesterday- I drew and inked 16 Marvel Comics trading cards! You can check 'em here: http://www.redbeardead.com/c9/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2018
I once again felt a need to add to the parts count of the kit , so I sawed off the rudder. Well, with all the other surfaces animated it was just beggin' for it!
All right, men- at ease. Smoke if you got 'em, and see you next time!
