That´s "build me factor" in this.Got to have me some spare time, and not been distracted off the Internet.
Let see an Internet free 2009, how´s that sounds= Lot´s off models completed
The better side off me say- That sounds like the boring stoneage
Very nice
Larsa
But that would mean that we don't get to see your amazing builds Larsa.
And we can't be having that.
Cheers,
Hugh

That is what I am shooting for. Then it will be full bore on the SE 5a. In a way the limitations I am living with from the original rules are helping me get to the end.
Anyone building this kit (Roden 1/32 Fok. D.VI ) should seriously consider replacing the struts with extruded brass STRUTZ. Seriously folks. The good thing for me will be using stainless steel wire for the rigging. It will provide some stability from the side to side twist inherent in the "Veestrut" configured landing gear.

Stephen, Looks great, very impressive! I agree that Steel wire certainly adds stability in the gear, at least it did on my Albatros DIII!

Yay!
Cool build Stephen. The texturing on the lozenge turned out very good. I would balk at having to do so much lozenge decal-ing. Kudos for the effort that you have put into that.
Roden hasto be pleased with what they are seeing here.
Cheers,
Hugh

Really looks good. I haven't built a 1/32nd kit yet, this may be my first. The lozenge decals scare me though. I hope the ones I have go on as nicely as you say yours did.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a great New Year.

Stainless steel can be purchased from Whalthers model railroad distributing. They carry "Custom Detail's " line of brass and stainless steel wire & rod. Most model railroad shops might carry them I know caboose Hobbies in Denver does.
