Hi all!
After all decalling finally done, I gave the model a very careful wash.
Mind you, this is a show-aircraft so I kept it almost as clean as it came from the paintshop!
Then a matt-coat to finish off the paintjob, all small and dangly bits and pieces added and the masks peeled away!
FINISHED!
...and in time!
Here´s some pics of my beauty;
Hope you like her!
Cheers!

Stefan: One big piece of cool Phantom!
And talk about just in time, I'll have to ask for an extension since I have probably more than a weeks worth of work with mine! Anyone more than me needing a bit of extra time?
Magnus

Stefan,
that looks awesome....
And as far as the stencils goes, it seems either to be Japanese and not Phantom sppecific. I have the decals for two JSDAF F-15's and they are also swamped in stencils... the manual for the Su-Flanker stencil set suggests the same for those.... and I have one of those in my stash as well (notthe stencil set yet though)
Well done,
Harm

I think I need an extension also. I have finished painting. I have some touch-up to do, then decals. I would have been done, but I have been in bed with the flu for about a week. Today was my first day of model work in three weeks. Vacation, then the M-I-L visited, then the flu. They always say it comes in threes. I believe it. I think I can finish in a day or two..

I have put in more time than I should have yesterday and this morning (and feeling it). Everything is together, except for one piece that apparently went missing. That aside, the Tamiya 1/32 F-4C went together very nicely. It is huge. All painted up and currently drying, so, I am ready to decal in the morning. I will catch up on photos then.

I'm not sure an extension would help me! I don't have much hope in finishing any time soon. Too many things on the go besides models right now (although I have been trying).

Hi all!
Carl, that is one very impressive build!
This Campaign could have run forever in my opinion!
The F-4 have been around for 50years and are still flown in some countries today!
There´s so many cool schemes, variants and markings to do!
Thanks to all for a very well run and fun campaign, and to all who built these superb models!
Cheers!
