Okay this one has come to end , it's finished ! I didn't do very much weathering to this one just wanted a clean looking aircraft to show off the lozenge and paint . Once the dull coat has dried for a few days I will do a very light dusting with pastels .

So there you have it .I would like to thank the ones who supported me and help with this blog . Couldn't have done it with you !

Yay Terri!

You should be proud of this one.

Building any kit with the panels removed is a chalenge enough. Building this one is a feat to be admired.

And it looks real cute with the Black and White and the losenge.

Cheers,

Hugh

Now just have to figure out what to build next now

great start to the new year. I've got the 1/72 of this, roden also, for your stripe campaign.
which look to be just a shrunken vresion of this.
love the exposed engine, cockpit, u/c turnbuckles and the prop.
How did you find doing the stripes, there is a little smudge near the cross
on the port side was that intentional or was it pretty tricky? the rest of
the stripes are really sharp

Well Terri, Have you done an Eduard Camel? They are lots of fun. Just remember to remove about a milimeter from the cabane struts.

Alternately, the Roden Spad VII is a damned nice kit. I can't wait to start mine.
You get of the blocks on that one and Stephen might decide to extend the Group Build.

Cheers,

Hugh

Wow didn't think I was going to get this kit of a response , Thanks guys !

Thanks Doug for the positive feed back .

JP , It is a scale down version , just watch the stripes on the turtle deck . It's not the chevron pattern as to what Rodens instructions say . The smudge , will be blended in once the dullcote has dried for a few days . Light grey pastels will then be used to add some fading .
The stripes are easy enough to do . when you have your angel set lay down one right beside that one and do it again , then remove the middle on and keep working your way down . Have prefect stripes ever time .

Steve I have a few in the stash , lets see here ...........Camel , Fokker D.VIII , Pfalz D.III , 2x Albbie one a OAW , Fokker DR.1 . Very hard choice on deciding which one .

Hugh , I have not built Eduards Camel yet , maybe I should , something with checkers ........

I have to say that Terri has come a very long way in a short period of time. Both in applied modeling skills and photo imaging. Now we can see the work and marvel at it. Thanks in this arena has to go to our own Hugh (Shutterbug) Coleman - MerlinV.

I also appreciate the fine camraderie we share here. It is you all that have made this a great place to learn and share.
