Great work, Eetu! It's been a pleasure to follow your build!

And now for my own finished entry (there are some itzy-bitzy details that I am going to adjust and perhaps add a little stenciling once I get the correct data, but I won't have time before the end of this campaign)!

First the original - The awesome SK 37 two-seat trainer version of Viggen, a photo taken either 1973 or 1974:

Then my my finished model in 1/72:

This was a truly fun build of a kit that - to my knowledge - is approx. 30 years old. It's been very eductional, as I tried rescribing panellines and riveting for the first time. Also, it provided ample opportunity to experiment with NMF - with results of which I'm rather pleased.

Cheers! // PolarBear

Wow! The ladder and the intake covers really make it so much more realistic. Looks great Björn.

Heres my finished Jet Provost. Not sure how I got it done because it is a horrible kit. Raised panel lines, huge gaps everywhere, the worst decals I have ever seen. It has been stashed at the back of my workshop for months and now I just about got it done. Only three photos, really couldn't find the motivation to take more. Enjoy (I didn't!)

Steve: you've made a great job of it, even if the kit wasn't a good one.

Here is the finished Tiger Moth (1/72 Airfix, click for larger versions):

Steve and Ben! I like both the JP and the Tiger Moth. And Steve, remember that I warned you when you started it, so much enthusiasm can't be healthy when it comes to modelling !

It's done. Or at least finished enough so that I feel that I can collect the ribbon and still look at myself in the mirror... It will receive a bit more detail painting and weathering in due course but it is "technically finished"!

Build blog is here!

I sure hope you (and the rest of us) will get a ribbon, Magnus! It looks like our campaign leader has left the building ("Kiwisoldier" has not visited the forum since March...). Or am I mistaken?!?

Great work on that Meteor. And Ben - all I can say is "wow"!!!

Great Meteor Magnus. First I hoped for Suez-stripes, but now I see it's not necessary. The tail is cool too. The old Meteor-tail has a great shape, and with the stick moved it looks just beautiful.

The summer vacations took some workbench time...
Could there be an extension ??

Thanks

Evidently, there is no ribbon design for this campaign. I have an idea but I need some feedback (or someone with real art skills to take over).

The basic idea here is two flight wings. Colors for everything need to be chosen (wings, background, stripes). Better looking wings would also be nice.

Gary, nice work. I'd say make the blue stripes orange, and the gray background white. That's my 2 cents.

Colors changed. I tried to make bigger better wings and added a line between the wings (by accident but it looks good).

Just my two cents, but (ding, ding, ding)...I think we have a winner. I like it. Thanks for your hard work on it, Gary.

Now what we need is for someone to step up and volunteer to become the new campaign leader to hand out the ribbons. Has anyone here been a campaign leader before?

Indeed, I for one welcome our new overlord!

And thanks for the going-through and listing entries, I had completely forgotten to upload photos to the campaign gallery.

...Which should be fixed by now. Just uploaded a few pics.
It's been a very nice campaign. Thanks!

Gary, nice work on the ribbon. And as many others have already said, thanks for stepping up and taking over the campaign. If you decide later on to actually run your own campaign you can count me in. Unless it's a 1/1 scale that is.

I need to work on actually completing campaigns myself. The only ribbon I have is for one where I joined last minute and almost finished. The leader decided I was close enough for starting so late. I watched this campaign as I thought about joining but I figure I should work on completing an 80% built and painted kit for the Get It Done Again campaign first, then I can think about joining more campaigns. My campaign completion record right now is 1 for 12.
