I am not doubting you Antonatos. I was just going off the caption and what looks like a large throttle lever.. but I have never seen an orange throttle lever either in a modern plane...

I was thinking perhaps the Gannet, but the production run was much larger than your figures. However, thinking along those lines - is it a coupled arrangement with two engines driving a single propellor, or similar?

Hi Sean.
If you look closely, you'll se that even Gannet had two levers. Anyway, I'm talking about two seperatley wistling jet engines, controled through one lever. Sould I give any more hints?

All right.
Let's summarize: Double engined jet, packed with computers. Cheers.

My friend Warren.....so glad to hear from you.
Lets rivew the facts.
Here we have two engines close together, as you guessed a while back...so it's got to be a fighter.
Now if you have a single lever regulating both engines there must be an other guy doing it for you and this guy is called "le computer" ... so he must be French right?
Now that's got to be more than enough...

Oh my... today is my lucky day I guess. Ignorant as I am about aircraft, I took an educated guess
Okay... what can I ask. Let's see... I think this might be a little too easy and I hope it was not asked before.
Question: Which modern aircraft is (somewhat jokingly) called as the "largest combat fighter"?

Warren, do they call the B-52 a fighter and did it carry out missions with the intent to kill other aircraft? I'm asking as I don't have info on that. The B-52 is larger than the answer I have in mind, but as far as I know it's more famous for carpet-bombing the hell out of things
