Many of the roads in St. Eval are named after the planes used... Orion Dr., etc.

The gap between the 2 lists is because they are 2 separate housing areas!

Except that I missed out Orion Drive because it's on the wrong side of the main road and was added after the married quarters were built. The gap is between the airmen's and sergeants' quarters (the longer list) and the officers' quarters (the shorter list). But they were all, indeed, aircraft operated by Coastal Command, albeit not all from St Eval itself.

Sorry, this was a bit of a sod of a question, but I couldn't resist as my first address in Cornwall was on Lerwick Road.

The next plane is a bit obscure, and that might be an understatement, as I could only find 1 picture, and almost nothing on the web- That said, the manufacturer's name is clearly spelled out on the nose, so there's a hint for you-

Going on the finish of the sealant around the windsceen I would say it is an older jet that has been updated to digital cockpit... I want everyone else to have a go as I know the plane..

Royal Singaporean Air Force F-5S Tiger II. Galileo Avionica's FIAR Grifo-F X-band radar AMRAAM capable. But I don't think that counts.
