Hi Chuck!

Very nice...

I see the 410 has been field modified to carry trumpets instead of machine guns...
I have one question though. Why are the soldiers all running away from Fritzi? Shouldn't it be the contrary?

Well - after reading all this I just HAD to have the JLC razor saw and the Touch 'n Flow so I bought myself early Xmas presents.

Chuk - what is your solvent of preference for the Touch 'n Flow?

Okay, so life and work have been keeping from the bench- but not entirely. Here's a brief update, and if you'd like a larger version of the Fritzi and her kettenkrad go here: http://chukw.com/Fritzikrad.html
Cheers-

Ok Chuck, I've decided I really hate you. Every time you post an update I can't help myself, I just have to go RIGHT back to the beginning and there goes ANOTHER hour. Yep, I really hate you.

Cheers (through gritted teeth), D

Fritzi and Hannah are pretty cute, but that engine is a thing of beauty.

Great Thread and Build!!

I am working on a Ju-87 (first aircraft)right now and I think I consult this thread more than any other reference I have for tips and tricks in learning how to do aircraft.

Thanks for all the knowedge!

Thanks, everyone! I've just finished a BIG storyboarding project at work, one that's been keeoing me away from the bench. Even better, I'll be on break for two weeks in 30 minutes! I'll FINALLY get those wings on- can paint be far behind?

Damian, it's all part of my evil plan! ;D

Yalym, I spend about three hours every Sunday evening making my posts- drawing the girls, writing the captions, fixing the photos- and getting everything up on the web. Whew!

Nick, aside from work and my honey-do list, I keep only one project on the board- that's enough for me!

Thanks, Terri and Juan! The engine will get grimier- I promise!

You're welcome Joe- I've had over 8.500 hits on her since I've put her up. The next one will be formatted to fit the screen better.

Wow, Cam- that's a real compliment- cheers!

Bob, you are too kind- thanks!

Well, that's all for now- cheers, and a happy holiday to all!

A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Chuck. It's good to see the progress you've made. I have been following this build as I do with most of your builds over at Finescale. I haven't been over there in a while so I've missed a few updates. There isn't much of your work that I can comment on that hasn't already been said before. Absolutely stunning work.

Thanks, Aeroscalers! Glad you made it over this way, Dirk- it's a great little spot on the ol' web with lots of great talent- and friends!

Well, I've been cranking away for days, so here comes a flood- of tragedy- and triumph! Sometimes I think that none of the parts to this thing actually fit together, even though I know it a great kit. Once you start chopping, it all goes out the window as one tiny flaw can lead to another. Perseverance saves the day, and Fritzi shows you how. As a special present o you, there's a large size version of today's header at http://www.chukw.com/Fritzi_Engine.html

Great job done on the engine Chuck ! The added plumbing really adds to the effect and makes it pop even more . Is there still some final weathering to do on them ?

Been there before with a wing fit issue . Congrats on not giving up !

Happy New Year to as well !
