Hello,

I am already quite on my way with my SE5a. Fuselage halves been put together, and lower wing added. Where's the best place to put my updates? If this one goed too fast, do not worry i also got an LVG ready and some of the unissued models will be bought by me for sure and I may use 'm for this G/B as well.

Thanks ted being Number Ten, so no 13th warrior;)

Cheers, Nico

The rules of this GB will be;
1. It must be a Wingnut Wings 1/32 aircraft kit.
2. It can be as basic as OOB or as detailed as the builder can make.
3. Detail your build on the Early Aviation title where you can ask questions of the experts.starting on Oct 1, 2009.
4. Highlights posted here showing your progress.
5. It can be any kit you have started or are waiting to be issued.
6. Have fun!

Contest Element
The contest will be the ribbon for your entry and Aeroscale staff will vote on the best build. The Winner gets a "Free" Wingnut Wings 1/32 kit.

I have finally signed up .

As to the rules just so I have a clear understanding , I can use any detailing PE parts or sets ?

I sure hope they have Hans Bethge of Jasta 30 as one of the marking options! Boy, would that look shape in 32 scale !

Stephen,

What about a conversion to one of the Wingnut kits?

(I know, I know...... it's a new kit for God's sake, why do you have to mess with it already?)

Just thinking out loud.

As detailed as you want to go. Slap two WNW 1/32 Fokkers together on floats, Combine two WNW kits in a kit crash and make a Foktros D.XII or an Albaker D.VI. Make a two seater Sopwith 2.5 strutter. Chop up an RE 8 into a single seater for a RE 4.5 strutter.

But it must start as a WNW 1/32 kit. The plastic for the build must be from a WNW 1/32 .

Well the news is out. All the following quotes are from (Jamo_Kiwi.)

"The good news is that Wingnut had pre-production models (built up and unbuilt) for the third round of releases at their stand for viewing. The Hansa Brandenburg W29 had arrived only yesterday, the Roland D.VIa was there, the FE2b and the DH9a. I saw three different Fokker DVIIs, the Pfalz DIII the Albatros DV and RE8. Lots of figures were there painted up and all looked absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait, totally awesome. The pictures will speak for themselves, sorry about my crappy photography. Some planes were on rotating stands and behind glass. I'll post this now and have photos up very soon.

The not so good news is that the second release kits are not available yet, but it won't be far away. There is no official release date yet.

Happy Modelling
James"
