Thanks Eric, your LVG is absolutely fantastic. Truely a build to be proud of! Your woodgrain is exceptional. I look forward to more of your builds.

Mark,

Thank you for those very kind words!

I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of a Wingnut Albatros D.Va and RNAS Pup. The postal tracking shows that they arrived in my PO today! I may have to wait a day for them to put the notice in my PO box.

I plan on starting the Albatros right away so I'll start a build blog when I do. It will be sharing bench space & time with a 1/48 Tamiya F-16 for a while though. How's that for a generation gap?!

How about you? Any new Wingnut kits in your future?

Cheers,
Eric

Eric,

I'll definitely be doing the Albatros duo (I wonder if the plural should be Albatri). Those will be some fun builds, but I want to finish my Hansa-Brandenburg W.13 first.

Mark,
Congratulations on the honor of making Wingnut Wings gallery, you're in the company of Masters now. Beyond a doubt you've earned the honor.

The LVG project is truly a Masterpiece with excellence through out the build. From the construction, detailling and her painting.

Highest Regards,

I'm with you...the plural of Albatros is, or should be, Albatri!

Eric

P.S. My Albatros and Pup did indeed arrive today. I am amazed at the speed...3 days from New Zealand to Ohio!

P.S.S I just saw your H-B W.13 build thread. Wow...words fail me! I can scratch build a bit or piece when needed but I am always amazed when someone takes on an entire model like that! Especially the photo-etch work. That is going to be a beautiful model with completed. I have always had a fondness for flying boats of all eras.

It is as I have suspected! Peter Jackson has become the "Santa Claus" and his off season work includes delivering WNW kits. His minions are no longer to be referred to has elves. They will be heretofore be referred to as "Pickle-haublets. Not to be confused with pickled hobbits mind you.

Hopefully the Pickle-Haublets are of the fastidious variety and have filled my order with their usual carefree abandon.
