What about a more basic ribbon like this?:
Posted: Tuesday, December 08, 2009 - 04:03 AM UTC
Well, I am for the bunny ribbon. I am still a bit disappointed that the FW 190 campaign has such a basic ribbon that no one will ever notice what it stands for and IMO the bunny says it all ..

I'm in.....
I have a choice of either a P-47 "Dottie May" or a P-38 with one of the Bombshell decals if they're are released in time.
An April start sound better for me as it'll give me chance to get a good head start on my other campaigns.

begin work on banner tonight...
A pin-up girl or pin-up model is a model whose mass-produced pictures see wide appeal as pop culture. Pin-ups are intended for informal display. Pin-up girls are glamour models, fashion models, and actresses.
Pin-up may also refer to drawings, paintings and other illustrations done in emulation of these photos (see the List of pinup artists). The term was first attested to in English in 1941; however the practice is documented back at least to the 1890s.

Wasn't there a drawing of Bettie Paige dressed in a devil's outfit riding a bomb?? That might make a good banner. Not sure if it was Bettie Paige but I think it was...........

Justin,
My compliments on a terrific Banner for this build ! It definitely captures the spirit of what we're trying to do. Now I'll have to go hunting for that "special" decal I need. Thanks again,Bruce....

I'm soo happy to see that I'm not the only one that likes nose art! I have a B24 with some nose art on it at work and everyone thinks I some kind of crazy for having a pin-up on the plane. Thanks for liking the idea. I knew I couldn't be the only one with some naking chics on his planes. I love this site sooo much!

Justin: you should think about linking your banner to the campaign page (it helps make it easy for people to sign up once they see your banner).
It also makes it really easy for you to get to that page when you want to do some admin work on it (esp after the campaign is closed).

Hi all!
OK, we have a lovley banner (best I´ve ever seeen so far! ), and a cool bunny-ribbon that tell it all what this campaign is about!
Now I will have a hard time to decide what to build!
Will it be "Air-a-Cutie" (P-39, 1/32), "Lady in the Dark" (P-61), "A bit´O´Lace" (B-17G), "Flak Allie" (B-24D), "Too Big and Too Heavy (P-47N, 1/32), "Pussy Galore II" (F-105), "Southern Comfort" (B-29), "Hard to Get" (B-26 Marauder) or something else?
There´s sooo many nice aircrafts with some outstanding artwork!
Most of these are big multiengine aircrafts, that will warrant at least six monts building time!
Decisitions, decisistions.....
Cheers!
