Yeah, Mark!
That's well deserved, the paint job alone is enough!
Thanks, Tim, for this really cool campaign, thanks, Scott and Geoff, for your wonderful decals!!
Most of all: thanks for all the kind comments on FB, Z5 and here that I received for my F4 (which was a spur of the moment build and turned out to impress people). They really spured me on!
Greetings

Congrats guys, a really superb bunch of builds in this Campaign.
I know I'm running a little late (well, maybe a LOT late), but I had some paint dramas, most likely some of my own greasy fingerprints that I didn't clean off properly, and had to repaint the pointy end of my F-16.
Anyway, I'm on to decalling now and I've gotta say, these are probably the nicest decals I've ever used. They are thin but strong and conform to the profile really well. With just a small drop of Gunze Mr Softer I have them pulling in around some sharp surface details perfectly.
I will post some pics here once I'm done, hopefully in a couple of days time.
Oh, I'm doing the Republic of Singapore Air Force markings, 425th FS Commander. We had an F-16 from this air force at the Avalon AIrshow in March this year and that provided the inspiration for this build.
Cheers, D

Hi,
Congratulations, Mark.
Thanks for running this campaign, Tim.
And Scott, thanks for all the decals.
With the Mig-21 sheets and the A-7D's coming up, those 20$ will come in quite handy.
Cheers, Stefan.

Here it is as promised folks, my Republic of Singapore F-16, from the Tamiya 1/48 kit.
Sorry for the poor quality pics, but my digicam has decided to go on strike. I will be adding some weapons at some stage, and will post some better pics to properly show off the markings.
As I stated earlier, I cannot fault these decals. The are thin and strong (well and truly strong enough for my fumbling application techniques), and laid down around the surface details perfectly with just a small application of Mr Mark Softer. The is only a tiny bit of silvering, but that is my fault for not prepping well enough.
A huge thanks to Afterburner for giving me the opportunity to try out their decals, and also to Tim for running this Campaign, and congrats to all of the fine builds along the way.
Cheers, D
