Hey Justin,
your earlier images have seemed to have disappeared?!
Could you check to see if there is an issue? I was using your reference pics for my build

Must just be me then :-) I'll keep trying.

One More question Justin, did you happen to have a pattern for your main gear well side walls?
I'm. Leaning towards giving them a go tooa. Keep it coming, your doing amazing work.

I'm following this build with great interest and it's looking great so far......

I've just roughed out my own nose-gear bay in card and I'm just about to cut plastic, so I'd also be interested in your dimensions to compare.

Best regards

Keith

ok so here is a ruff idea as these are inside dimensions using 1mm thick styrene.keep in mid guys you will have to figure the contours out until it looks right and theres alot of fitting before it all comes together

Under sir this whole time while I'm doing this in the back of my mind I'm thinking about paint, wheel bays etc.in my head it's my greatest model yet. Hope it comes out that way

Thanks for watching

Jason:
I'm sub'd & will definitely be watching this build. Good luck
& keep the faith, it's gonna be a long road. It's a shame
Meteor Productions is O.O.B. They made nice details for the 71
& the U-2 acft. I have collected 5 kits to build the whole YF-12, SR-71 line including the Drone. Good Luck, You have my
support in thoughts. Can't wait for completion.

I wonder if this one has ever reached to an end? It would be nice to see pictures of the finished masterpiece.

This build is still very much a work in progress. Stand by for some more scale engineering at it's finest.

Here's the reference that I used for the most part. There seems to be alot of variance between airframes so there appears to be no "standard" layout.
