Got a little more work done. Had an issue with fuselage alignment and added this sheet styrene shim to the nose so the radome would fit flush.
Welcome all new entrants. Kudos to those making headway on their builds.

Hi Justin
Yes - some really great builds on show! I'm afraid I can't even get near my poor Delta at the moment because my workroom has become a (hopefully!) temporary storeroom and is piled high with furniture while we have builders working in the house.
All the best

Hi Justin
Absolutely - I could build it on a tea-tray. Trouble is.. I can't actually get to it, because it's the wrong side of a wall of furniture and stuff we've moved out of our front room.
Would an X-47B count for the campaign - I've seen it described as a "compound delta" and a review sample of Platz's new kit is apparently in the post. I could do it as a review-build while I'm waiting to get my workroom back...
All the best

Well I'm calling this one done folks. I will try to get a better pic outside to put in the gallery over the next few days.
Good luck for the rest of your builds (Rowan, I'm sure you will find a way to make styrene and cement find each other through the chaos!).
I only wish Hermon was here to see his idea come to fruition.
Cheers, D

Good one!
As it seems I won't find the time to join the fray, after all. Too bad, really! So my Mirage will go back to the shelf until Delta Dawn II.
Good luck, everybody! I'll keep on watching you!
Cheers,
Guido

Very nice Mirage, Damian. It is a real beauty in its gleaming shiny finish. Well done.

Thanks Jesper. I think it's the decals that set it off nicely

Western Canadian Tupolev Design Bureau has sorted out mess with markings and progress is once again being made!
I need to do bunch of touching up and then we tackle the wheels and other tiny fiddly bits.

Interesting choice, Rowan. I am not familiar with that kit or even model company. Keep us updated.
A little more progress on my MiG-21. The decals are on. Next some fine post shading with Tamiya smoke.
More to follow.

It's done!
That right-hand canard looks like it's swept back way too far, but it's actually right in line with the left one. I think it's the angle the picture was taken at combined with the anhedral. It looks like I didn't care about getting them lined up in this picture.
The pics are a bit dark. I'll see about getting some brighter ones in the morning.

As promised, better and brighter photos.
See? The canards do match!
But I did mess up the shape of the cockpit windows.
Oh well, it'll go up on the high shelf and I just won't say anything.
