Thanks for the comment, Bob. Dedication to go through the whole tread
Very cool markings, Dirk. I have the same kit in my stash and cannot wait to get started - at some point.
Trevor, should the top sides of the wings be grey? I thought they were a high gloss yellow for added visibility?

According to the Matchbox colour call out it is supposedly light grey and slate gray. The photos that I have due show some colour difference though I am no expert deciphering colours from an orthocromatic colour slide. The plane was a flagship for D.L.H. covering the south Atlantic mail service. I did not explore the colours further, could have asked D.L.H. if they could have provided greater clarification on the colours. If anyone has any info upon this paint scheme let us know. As for the windsock I am not too sure which pic you are referring to. The tail has the Reich flag on it. The background is provided by my closet doors, platform provided by empty boxes. Bins supporting the a/c are empty strip bins for the glucose meter.

Looks like the He115 is off to the Hangar Queen campaign

Work commitments have made my building time unpredictable, which cost me the couple weekend days I needed to finish it.

Hi all. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you all, work commitments have dragged me all over the place lately so I haven't had a chance to get my 109 finished. I'm hoping to get a couple of hours this weekend
What a sensational collection we have ended up with !! 13 completed builds and a wide variety of aircraft on display. Thanks to everybody who has contributed by sharing their work or just following and commenting along the way, I have really enjoyed watching the nostalgia oozing out of every new post.
I have awarded ribbons to everybody who has posted pics of their completed builds, and as always with my Campaigns, if you want to finish off your build and post pics in this thread, you will get your ribbon.
Thanks again for joining me on the journey into our modeling heritage, I hope you all had as much fun as I did.
Cheers, D
