Some work today on the firewall and motor mounts. Need to add a few more bits then drill holes for plumbing, after that its painting then back to the cockpit.

Fred, great looking insides.

It has been awhile since I posted an update on my part of this campaign. It is a little behind. Since this pic I have mostly finished picking out the details of the cockpits of both aircraft. Just waiting to add PE seatbelts. The fuselage halves have been glued together and I am in the process of putting the cockpits parts together from the bottom. It looked easier then gluing everything to one fuselage half. I will have more pics later. Maybe just before I start fiddling with the wings. This is my first kit from Sword and I am still holding judgment still on the assembly.

Still plugging away. Will add a couple of extra hoses but the landing gear bay has been scratch built and is more or less complete.

Here I continue with this model,

started adding a little pigment to the tub.

I hate to do this but I have to drop out. Just to much happening right now.

We understand that Life sometimes happens. Once you've sorted things out, Aeroscale will still be here and building models will still be fun.

Our campaign will be beginning its' last month, the gallery has entries from Spain, Italy and Turkey. Time to work toward completion on your entry, mine included.

can you tell me what king of glue are you using (I know it is a CA... your work is amazing and very very clean. I can never get PE parts to be glued so clean

Daniel, great detail work being done. I'm amazed at the level of craftsmanship among the Kit Maker modeling community.

I need to work on my Fairy Battle today, it is assembled but needs filing and paint. The end of the Club Med Campaign is drawing near with 21 days to go.

Drawings of the under carriage in the Hobby Craft model are
not easy to follow and looking at photos on the web showed covers locations to be drawn wrong.I have a Eduard I-16 Type 10 and the drawing (on right) in photos shows how to do it!

Nice work on the Macchi, Daniel!

Just got back from holiday. Totally did not realize we are down to the last month. Not withdrawing, but I'm enjoying the progress on my MC.200. Don't feel like rushing, so if I make the deadline I'll get my ribbon. If not it, will be finished. (and hopefully to my liking).

I'm going to continue to post progress shots even if I miss the deadline.
