Hi Doug
Thanks very much. I must admit she does catch my eye when I walk past my display cabinet.
Happy modelling.

Steve,
The end result is superb and is a testament to your model making/painting skills - well done mate! Italeri should hang their head in shame in this day and age and as you said, it is a 1970's or 80's kit (and would have been bad then too).... but at 2017 prices!
I sold mine on the back of this build (thank you for the honesty unlike a number of so called 'reviews' in magazines etc!) and I am just sorry that seemingly, AFV Club who I believe also announced a 1/32 Mirage III series have probably now shelved theirs given that Italeri have released this turkey of a kit but gone and snatched the market irrespective.
Saluti Italeri - per niente!
Gary

Hey Gary
Thanks a million. It was great to have you along and thanks also for the encouragement. I needed it at times.
One lesson I've learned in the course of this build is that in-box reviews can tell us about detail but not about fit. And of course, some reviews are not impartial or thorough either. I guess we're all human. Hopefully blogs like ours help to sort the good, the bad and the ugly.
Happy modelling and happy New Year too.
Steve

Steve,
You are a modelling Trojan mate to get to the end of this Mirage build.
Now go and build something by Tamiya for some R&R?....perhaps something like my next build (1/32 F4U-1.
Thanks for all the 'fun' and humour with the Mirage build and look forward to seeing your next one.
Best regards and a Happy 2017!

Gary, so I got some images loaded into the gallery - hopefully a search in the Aeroscale folder will get you to them.
Next up is either a Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Vb, or finishing off a sci-fi project I started ages ago, or maybe both. Neither can be quite such an adventure, can they? I mean what could possibly go wrong...
