Hope this one will be a hard nut to crack!
Identify this plane
I will unblur the picture a little bit if you can't find it!
Jean-Luc
PS: don't go to the members gallery, you wont't find the name or the following picture there;)

Damned David!
You got it with the first attempt!
You could have enlisted in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery! Your pilots would have been in security!
Next time i'll blur more
Your turn Mister!

Hi Jean-Luc,
I thought I made a mistake at first. I thought it was the V-156 Cheasapeake (export version of the Vindicator).
Well I guess it's my turn again.
Guess what this is...

Man, your good Jean-Luc! Your turn sir.
I think there are at least four different aircraft named Corsairs made by Vought. Not a trivia but why is A-7 a Corsair II? Makes me wonder. :-) :-)

Hey all!
Nobody wants to move?
Here is one hint:
The constructor of the plane later made... well... more bigger ones!

Hey what's happening!
Does everybody sleep?
Well here is one more hint:
The constructor of the plane is actually one of the two biggest commercial plane company in the world! And no, the plane on the picture is not an Airbus :-)
So what? Is that the end of the trivia? Doh!

Hi Jean-Luc
I haven't been asleep - just away working!
Well, from the hints, it must be a Lockheed!
Actually, I'm guessing Boeing and, although I don't have many refs for their early aircraft, I'll plump for an XF3B-1.
Well, at least I tried...
All the best
Rowan

Hi Merlin!
Good to hear from you again!
Aren't Boeing and Airbus the two major companies actually (I said that before really checking out I confess )
For your answer, you're so close I can count it as a good answer (in fact I'm happy to let you ask the next question!)
It is a Boeing FB-6, which is basically a radial engine version of the FB-1. FB-1 to FB-6 where based on the same airframe I suppose. I don't know this planes that much but I found they looked like the O2U of the previous question so...
Your turn Merlin!
Jean-Luc
PS: how is your Ju-87 A going?

Hi Jean-Luc
I'm showing my age! Remember the days when Douglas and Lockheed were big in the airliner business too!?
Cheers for being generous on the ID - I got very confused by the variety of tails and engines fitted to the early Boeing fighters and my Jane's aircraft encyclopedia just wasn't detailed enough to pin it down!
I'm afraid the Junkers is still at the stage you last saw it - a heavy period at work has stopped me modelling much lately.
I'll try to find a question.
All the best

Well, seeing as we've hardly been deluged with answers :-)... it's a British aircraft.
