Cool , it really adds life to the model with the texturing added . Will this cause a flat finish which will need clear coat for the rest of the markings to be applied ?

BTW.......I REALLY do like that weathering............I'm gonna HAVE to do a Lozenge model at some point.

I need help here. I am having extreme difficulty in applying the Techmod Rib Tapes on my Albatros.
Any tips?

I usually give the completed texture several coats of Testors Dullcote. I also cut the clear areas from most decals. But even a direct application, like on the weights table below the pilot's left side of the cockpit.

The decal is very fragile and has practically zero adhesion. Trying to get it to stick while still being able to manipulate the decal (to get it straight) is very difficult... I have broken a few already.

First gloss coat your lozenge. Then when dry cut in strips. to help adhesion 50-50 white glue and water.

Very impressive Stephen , the texturing really adds to the over all effect . I will be trying this on the next build I do . I'll practice on the Roden lozenge first so I don't screw up the good ones . Thank you for sharing this info ands tips on how to improve the appeance of lozenge decals .
Hugh , Stephens tip of the 50/50 of white glue and water works very well . I have used that method before . I didn't have luck with the gloss so I ended up using Micro scale decal film .
The gloss ended up ruinning the decals which I believe was my own doing from appling too much .

Thanks Guys for all the tips.
I actually had some success last night. I applied shorter lengths (so I did the top of the wing and the the bottom). I managed to complete the whole of the lower wing. . . Never the less... The Techmod sheet has insufficient rib tape to complete the aircraft model.

Thanks Hugh! Let me see if the American Connection is planning on some 1/32. The Roden Fok. D.VI may need some for the fuselage.
In the mean time here is a bit of fun on the comparison of the four colour lozenge. in unfiltered sunlight.

Most excellent. I just got out the Roden and Eduard D.VII kits and did some comparisons. I should have said, there is no real comparison. I hope these manufacturers will pack these into their kits in the future. Until then, I think I will have an order for at least one of each, and two of the texture. Where is that credit card?
And there will be a Fokker Streaked Camo in the future.
