I see torches and pitchforks on the horizon fellas. Someone put a call into the local organization of WOW. Ok don't panic, remember what we did last time. Grab something important and run! Give it 3 or 4 days and we'll just have to come back and clean up the burned undergarments. . . Ready go!

Your shoes and kits are safe...unless ya toss them up on ebay! OH, two more for the stash yesterday, 1/72 revell junkers G-24 and an 1/72 Airfix short sundy III...got those when I picked up my Hasgawa 1/32 mustang...I gotta stay away from paul's house{jetpilotpaul on ebay}...now if you want to talk about stashes ya gotta see his place...a modellers heaven!!!!

No paintballs are aloud inside the cafe Bob . You can wear the gear if you think that will help you out .

After three days of rain it has finally come to an end with the sun being out sharing the rays back on with the BBQing .

Tonights film will be Johnny English

Looks like your safe terri since the airtank for the marker is empty and my compressor couldn't fill it to the 2500psi limit.
Cool, got my MDC Ju52 float kit today..nice castings and pe bits. I'll have to see if I can find the right markings for her now.....

Found pics of a bronco on floats!
If I had the resin kit , with my 2 revell He-111 kits...it'd be cool to try it as a float plane........that, would be a heck of a big "what if"!

You might have to build a spare room for it as well , that would be huge and something to see ..........I have this what if idea floating around in my head on a Sopwith Camel two seater on floats !!! Twin Lewis guns will neat her don't you think !

Have a few options which I can use for parts either a Bluemax fuselage or the Revell one . Wings are cover with all the extra ones from the Eduard kit's . Colwings as well . Floats are in the parts bin other items will be from scratch . Sound make a nice little project

You have a good start. Check out my comments on the Blue Max kit in the 2F.1 Camel thread. That will help you. The problem won't be finding images but replicating the Bentley Rotary. Since its an RNAS you could do a prototype from Manston or the Firth of Fourth. But to make it a two seater you would have to drop the guns and make it a trainer. I don't think they had one of these. A two seater with guns and floats would need a 230hp Bentley and they did not come out til after the war if I am not mistaken. Its your build but I am just rambling here. Maybe a twin tailed Camel on Floats? One hump or two? Uh camel types I mean.

Here is a similar build.

Hey , thanks for the feed back Stephen . I justgot the Windsock Datafile # 26 from Keith . Very impressed with the book . On page 9 thrid pic down is a pic of a two seater with a lewis gun ....rather neet looking but not with out it's problems . Having to find some one small enough and not weighting all that much either would be a chore and a half .

Still going to go on with the What if project , just something fun to build while improving on the scratchbuilding skills . Won't be starting any time soon though ...........but I'm thinking about a campaign of What if WW1 aircraft .

I really like the Fokker which Steve S built , that is one cool looking model !!!

Now that'd be cool, and they very well have had one too...if not it'd still be neat anyway. I'd hack the revells only because I know nothing of the blue max kits{is anything worse than revell? }. I want a deal wheels fundecker kit...5 wings as I recall and twin engines...

Sadly, while we were outside tonight I had to go and notice that the gutters are growing again....the joys of 10 trees on a 1/4 acre lot! At least I can paint before I head up for gutter defoliage detail...I'm trying to finish up my sherman walker tank.

Yeah that's what I thought Bob . It would be really cool to see one . Have never seen a Sopwith Camel on floats but I have seen two seaters .......However Stephen is correct that it would never fly because of the extra weight , wasn't powerful enough engines for it at the time . So just have to re-plan some things on the project .

The Blue Max is a 100 % better then the Revell item Bob . When I pick up the Revell kit and saw the parts on how much work would be involved in it . Would have been easier to scratch all the parts . Was planning on using the Extra gun decking in the Eduard kit and cowl . Just not sure if there should be a small float where the tail skid is . I have the main floats from the Sopwith Baby kit I pick up at a flea market along time ago . The kit was in parts and missing the cockpit parts but it was the floats I wanted and was only 75 cents !!!

But now I'm thinking about a Pfalz D.IIIa on floats !!!

Cleaning the rain gutters isn't all that bad , you don't have to worry about breaking a nail

Hey, do a double sopwith camel....sometimes, just sometimes, ya gotta build waaaaaaay outside of the box. It's more work than ya think, but it's worth it for the static WOW factor.
Dare to be different!...there's plenty of other aircraft you can build per real specs...just my opinion.........

Well this has been a very sad week for me indeed . With having a friend murdered on Canada Day and right after the service on Friday , My Aunt was killed in car accident on Saturday . Right now All I want to do is hide from the world and stay there which seems to be the safest place right now ..................................................

Thanks guy's , I know in time things will get better . It's just hard to believe some times in this day and age with all the violence happening which gets worse every year . It truly is a different world from when I was growing up . I will be fine but I will pass on that drink for now , no room for it under the rock at the moment . I will have a herbal tea though with some honey .................................
