Hi Jesper

as my model was subject of a feature I thought I could leave out the gallery upload?

BTW does this take my gallery space?

cheers

Steffen

No problem, Steffen. I can remember your entry, I never forget a FW 190. (That sentence will come back and bite me in the a** at some point)

I think it will count towards your total gallery space.

Anyway, I will remember to get a ribbon your way.

Hi Jesper:

I´m having too much work and no time for modelling these last days, so if it´s posible I need two more days to finish my second entry. Could this be ?

Thanks and regards.

Hi Andy

Very impressive - both the result and the speed it was build with. Now go and get some sleep

Thanks for participating

Wow! I did not see that one coming, but the Russian tankers probably also missed it

It looks great and is a fine addition to the campaign.

Thanks for participating

Hello Jesper and fellow Down Low builders,

I had some time issues in the first part of this year and could not spend enough time trying to build my JU-88. I didn't want to rush it and turn out a below average product so I decided to switch gears and build one of my accurate miniature Il-2 Sturmoviks. Unfortunately this occured just after July 4th and I said I would just slap it together to just have an entry for this campaign. Well.........Once I started building I said that I can't just wholeheartedly slap it together so I got caught up in a little bit of research(Not too many different angled pics of sturmoviks online). So, I have assembled the cockpit and Fuselage but still need to assemble the wings and front of the plane as well as getting it painted. I saw that someone else was building a sturmovik and saw that a good portion of the single seaters had wooden wings. I wont be able to fashion my plane like this since I am out of time and I can not find a decent pic of a sturmovik with the wooden wings. So between wanting to just slap a model together and also try to get some accuracy into it I will not be able to finish it on time. I work in the construction field and my hours are erratic so I can't even make a guess as to when I can finish it. I could try to get it done within two weeks but that is just a SWAG(Scientific Wild [auto-censored]d Guess). So If you and the others are OK with it, I will try to get it finished up(with no guarantees) in the near future. If I can not do this--I will ask Jean-Luc if I can enter it in the Soviet build since I didn't start it until after July 4th.

Let me know what you think. I didn't want to upset the other builders in this campaign who were able to get their planes done on time by asking for an extension.

I've finished my entry for the Down Low campaign with hours to spare. My Dad let me stay up to finish it.
It's the Hobbyboss P-47D Thunderbolt in 1/72 scale.
I have uploaded a picture into the gallery.

Hello everyone,

What a good campaign this is, lots of great entries showing off the talent of the membership. I am amazed at the quality of workmanship displayed time after time. .
I have been enjoying the campaign as a spectator but now I want to contribute to this successful campaign. Here is my entry, it’s the old Monogram Hurricane in 1/48. The only items I changed were the decals.

Sincerely,
Brian

A good campaign always seems to attract good builds. This one supports that assertion. Congrats to all participants.

Hi all:

Here are the pics of my finished second entry. It´s a P 47D Bubletop - Academy brand in 1/48. Build is OOB. Paints are Model Master Enamels. Decals are Aeroscale. The bird is from the Zemke Wolfpack.
This was a fantastic Campaign. I enjoy it a lot.
