Eagle Editions have sent us details of an upgrade for Wingnut Wings' Fokker D.VII from master-modeller Radu Brinzan:
"RB-P32031 Fokker D.VII Radiator Mesh by Radu Brinzan

Suitable for all Wingnut Wings kits of the Foker D.VII.

This is a set of radiator screens to improve the inaccurate screens provided in the kit: the kit radiators feature a "square" pattern while the correct radiators should feature a "honeycomb" pattern. The parts fit directly over the kit plastic parts. No modification needed. Made of very thin stainless steel.

All types of radiator meshes included, both inside and out. Units in box: 1.

Price: $8.50 "

Here the PE appears to be attached to the radiator on the sprue. The edging appears to be .010 plastic rod used as a border.

Of course the reasoning behind the use of adhesives other than "Cyano" is the time needed to reposition the PE part on the face of the radiator kit part. Also It is not a screen or mesh part as the Cyano might block up the screen and ruin the effect. PVA or another acrylic liquid is easy to blotter up on the edges.

Cool, I have ordered two sets for my D.VII kits.
