Definately not a Myrsky. Different engine & canopy, and it has spatted UC.
A Saab 17 of some sort perhaps? B 17B?

Nope. Not a Saab 17 either. It has a more american looking engine cowling and backwards folding landing gear. It's bigger too, this is more the size of a lysander, but that doesn't fit either. Bummer...

Hi all
Maybe time for another clue:
The aircraft isn't Swedish or Finnish and the engine is a Bristol Pegasus.
All the best

Ok Got it that there is a Lithuanian ANBO 8. They used pegasus for nearly all their craft.
Here is vid on youtube of one being built. Phew that was a toughy. Where do you get them
from Rowan?

No question yet. But here's a clue, Irish!

Well done JP!
The video on You-Tube is amazing isn't it - the last thing you'd expect to see footage of (some in colour too!).
Over to you for the next Irish question.

I got to agree with Rowan. Amazing footage of an amazing plane. Huge thing too.
It's like the internet was invented solely for the purpose of aviation buffs of the world to see the Lithuanian Anbo. Long live THAT internet!
But, doesent Anbo sound a bit like a rebel cargo vessel from star wars?

Is it the first aircraft to fly from England to Ireland, a Farman III?

Here's one with a bit of a difference.
Can you pick this silhouette?

Whew, I guess you let me have that rather easy, but thanks for that. I've never seen it before, but it looked like a late Meteor tail.
I've got a different one here, and a bit more difficult, I think. The three pics below shows different things. They are in the wrong order, and the question is - which is the correct order?

Hi Tony,
Could it be that the airliner is a SAAB 90 Scandia, followed by the SAAB 91 Safir trainer, and last in is the SAAB 92 automobile?
Graeme.

Yoy've got it Graeme. I guess it wasn't all that hard after all.
Wierdly enough, I would have a hard time choosing between a 91 and 92, The cas has a 750 cc twostroke engine, which in the glory days was tuned to 100 hp / litre for racing.
Over to you Graeme.

Hi Graeme
At first I thought it was an Aermacchi M346, but the tail is different - so the hunt was on and the trail led to the Yak-130.
All the best

Hi Rowan,
According to the source, it IS an MB346! But if it is really a Yak, I stand corrected.
Either way, it's all yours mate!!
