Hi Eetu and Steffen
Ooh - those look fun! Do you fancy doing doing reviews?
Who, me?
Though I'm no expert on the subject of Wellingtons, I think I could take some photos of the kit content and write a few lines.

Today I got a letter from China with some Dreammodel PE for the J10.
Does not look bad, but it seems a bit thick and to be steel (scratched the backside, but it still looked "steely") That would be really bad .. never liked the Dragon PE because of the material.
BTW the parts are foiled, which was used by Mig productions quite favorably by eliminating the attachement points to the frame ... not so in this case (as you can see). The istructions are very basic and you will probably need the pictures of the built in set that Rowan posted some time ago (can also be found on
http://www.dreammodel.com.cn/ )
all the best

Seconded, I've never liked Dragon's earlier steel PE either. Good that they switched to brass.
Btw, annealing steel PE with a lighter makes the material easier to cut and reduces its tendency to spring back to it's original shape when bent.

Thanks Eetu
(of course I knew, but better point out the obvious than telling later. you shoul dhave don this and that)
Except for the seat belts I do not see much of a problem. Except maybe cutting off the small part (sub-mm!!) and attaching the canopy rails (not sur if these have to conform the curve or stay straight).. OTOH steel is good in this area as it limits the danger of broken off hooks...
cheers
Steffen

Not a bad idea that!!!,dont think the missus would be too impressed with me digging up the garden
,mind you, would save me cutting the grass and I could sell the mower and invest in more plastic

Hi there
Well, choosing what to build for the upcoming Bf 109 Campaign just got a lot easier!
Postie just delivered this very nice conversion set for the 'V-13 and 'V-14 racers, courtesy of Werners Wings:
I'll get the review done as soon as I can.
All the best
Rowan

Today the postman dropped off two packages. Well, to be exact, notices to pick up said packages from the postal office, as they didn't fit in the box:
A dozen Vallejo-style paint bottles.
Time to put those Citadel metallics to containers in which they don't dry out!
And the bigger one...
Ich habe ein Bomber!
Another Ebay find. I was a bit surprised that people didn't start a any serius bidding competion over this one; when keeping an eye on it, I saw a CA Blenheim selling for over 80 dollars...
Anyway, the Dornier wasn't absolute steal (that original Billiken Predator kit I got for 20 bucks was!), but still a good bargain I think. The grand total I paid was still over 20 euros less than what the kit retailed for here in Finland.

Arrived today
The prop action P-47 was a bargain $20 from eBay with me being the only bidder In total including postage cost me £35 which is only a little bit more than a normal P-47 kit. The decals are the Aztec Decals P-47 Pin-up decals in 1/48. Hannants were out of stock but I managed to get them cheaper including postage direct from the manufacturer (go figure
)

Hi all,
This is what I got today...
Guess what it is...
A new Airbrush!
Well, it's not that new because I already have the DH-2. This version, DH-102, has a flow control which I will test as soon as possible...

Your new airbrush looks nice Jean-Luc- I see it is made by the same company that makes the Premi-air G35 that is sold here. Do you like 0.2mm nozzles? Do you use it for general work, or only details and edges?
