I am looking forward to the review .. would have preferred a Walter Loos special .. but o.k.
Here is my last (self ordered) model for quite a while ... hope I find a job soon to fund more models in da future. had to get it from customs today .. very annoying (not to pay the toll but to cope with German public "servants").

A real beauty!
I bought a set of those etched razor saws a little while ago. If you're like me, you'll find them fantastic! Far finer than any of my existing "standard" razor saws and perfect for really delicate tasks. They've gone straight onto my shortlist of most useful tools.

well, I do not like the Graf machine, but there is a 2nd marking included which I always wanted to do (Egon Mayer). The resin charger intakes look a little strange .. have to check the Rodeike book on those. Also the decals are a bit misprinted --- esp. the kill markings I need .. but I have his A-5 markings somewhere, which are from the same time frame. Egon Meyer had two aircraft at that time the A-4 as an altitude fighter and the A-5 for the other jobs.
I already have a set of the scriber saws and as you I like them very much. Sadly I damaged my first set in a heavy work project so I bought this replacement. The scriber also looks really nice!! and it has a grindstone included.

It's a shame about the problems with the kit, but thanks for the heads-up regarding them. I haven't seen this boxing of Hasegawa's '190 "in the flesh", so to speak. I've still got the old Dragon version buried in the stash somewhere.

To be sure you understood me right: I do not like the c&m of that machine. The Hasegawa Fw 190 A-4 is nice.
The box artwork rather looks like his A-5 ! (there are photos in Rodeike) but I think he also had two with JGr. Ost .. not sure though. Attention: the Dragon Fw 190 A-5 was no A-5 but a slightly altered A-8.

How, they checked the kit and cut off the swastikas from the decal sheet, or just acted sour because people ordered "nazi-related" goods?

No, thats no problem for private use (they did not even open the shrink wrapped package (hlj does that to keep everything together). Just to communicate / interact with "Beamten" is a challenge ....

Swell little Fokker. Loads of extras for such a cheap kit. Lozenges, tape decals, two engines, three props. Sharp sharp detail Magic I think it was only five or six euro. First Roden kit I've bought, very impressed!

I'm not a specialist of rivets but I thought I could give the new Trumpeter tool a try. It's not expensive at all compared to other products. I hope it will work well.
Some PE references from Eduard are currently on sale at Hannants. I've purchased some of them. Mainly for armor...

I have two of the "Rosie the Riveter" tools from Petr Dousek (new via ebay) and they were good in price and are very (very) good in production quality ... I am really curious what you can do with that tools

Last month, in a moment of weakness after reading the review, I ordered the new Fine Molds 1/72 A6M2 Type 21 Zero. They were here to welcome me back. Though the "wrong scale" --1/72 (Siderius will be proud of me)-- I couldn't resist. Hard for me to refuse a nice ReiShikiSen!
Now that I don't have anything else scheduled for the rest of this year, perhaps I'll resume modeling! Be good to get back into the game!

What I liked about this tool, is that there are four different wheels included. Downside is that the wheels are rather big, so I imagine drawing the rivet lines on wing roots must be difficult for example. For flat surfaces I'm pretty confident it will work well. I've purchased a rivet maker from Hasegawa one year ago and it was unusable! The quality was very poor and I was really disappointed. I hope the Trumpeter one is better.
The He 51 is also on my list. But I will wait for sales on this one. Sales are very dangerous for modelers...

Not my normal scale but I've got a thing for Fleet Air Arm and for them I make an exception although not sure when I'll get round to building it.

Didn't know I built cars did you ! Niether did I until my Brother made me buy it for his birthday. So now i have to build it as well, and to make matters worse, he wants it the same as his car, which wouldn't be so bad if his Mazda didn't have a body kit on it. Oh well a little scratch building never hurt anyone .

I thought about the sawing tools you bought from Hannants. As I mentioned in another thread I ordered the large Tamiya saw some year ago and it is the best saw I ever had. The largest resin gate is removed in a few seconds. The cuts are straight even in my finger not to forget it is pretty cheap if ordered from Japan (I linked to HLJ but I am sure you know more shops there; click Img):

as I already mentioned in an earlier post I bought a Do 17Z in a sale at squadron. 35 Dollar plus 25 p&P ... which is a bit expensive but not mentioned on the bill, so I could avoid visiting customs this time. Sadly the box is a bit beaten up, but inside is everything fine.
