@ bob and Justin,
I'll take some pictures when I get home from work and post tonight (UK time). My first impression when I opened the box was good although there is only one decal option from what I could tell, but hey I'd already decided on the 'Fightertown' decals anyway.

Hi Guys
re: E-2C: Well, I do not want to push myself in the foreground here, but I had already done a
review of the kit on my site (yeah German so not much of use for most of you) the kit is good and I have read nothing about major mistakes (which means not much though).
I have the Crew entry detail set and just got the 3 Eduard sets yesterday (samples, so I have to use them) When I am done with the FM-2 and maybe the Su-7 I will start the Hawkeye (most probably).
all the best

Nice haul, Jean-Luc!
can you bring the file with you next week? I would like to have a look before I spen 15€+ on it...
Finally I could get my todays delivery... postman was new and could not get it working so I had to get it from the office. Some small stuff from Lucky model:
hard to believe, but some stuff is cheaper to buy from HongKong than from Germany or CZ esp. as Shipping is free.
The Hauler thing is the welded gunshield for my StuG III G the rest should be large enough to read (I have 2 F-84F one Kinetic one Italeri rebox .. still need to find the French-Israeli markings from teh Suez crisis .. the F-105D might be my "Nose Art" entry or CAS)
BTW just got their Newsletter ... the Prowler is in da house (48 scale kinetic .. as well as the Hawkeye 2000)
cheers

Hi all
Did not come through the post, but bought this great magazine while I was waiting for my better half at the dentists. Could not resist it because of the cover, having recently bought Xtrakits Sea Vixen FAW 2. 'Une teigne sur la mer' I think translates as a moth on the sea, Jean-Luc if he sees this will translate it better. The reason for including the Autogiro? I just love the photo's!

Hi all
got this today and I already read it ... it is another wonderful issue in that series and a must for everyone interested in Luftwaffe ...

A Bf 109 G-4 of an KC holder without antennas and the DAK luxury toilets are also very nice. I like the Me 410 article a lot...

Hi again
Well, I have to admit seeing sprue-shots of Italeri's new Macchi C.200 a week or two ago, and then talking to Jean-Luc about the kit the other day, convinced me that I had to have another quarterscale Saetta - but not Italeri's new one, rather the Pacific Coast Models' mixed media kit:

I
reviewed it years ago and still think it's a great little kit. When I spotted that
Cammetts are selling it cheaper than the new Italeri version costs in the UK I couldn't resist buying another! (Even though I shouldn't be buying more kits...)
All the best
Rowan

Hi Rowan
buying new kits is not the problem, you are allowed as much as you can finance (or more) ... you just have to build one or two!!! (shall I say Bf 110) and before you ask I have already done half a dozen this year ...
cheers

Hi Steffen

Don't worry - I was working on the Bf 110 when the postman rang the doorbell! I'm hoping to have a bit of time for modelling this weekend between working on the reviews that I need to publish, so I'm aiming to have the interior finished and the fuselage closed up.

All the best
Rowan

Martin, you are a lucky man to have an understanding wife and to have found the Hurricane. I've been looking for it over here but it is a popular item and always sold out. Again congrats on a super vaction.

The postman delivered this this morning..

I got it for a ridiculously small price from Dragon-USA Online during their ICM sale. I snuck a peek at the contents and the moulding looks wonderful and crisp, and the sprues are all bagged so hopefully no lost parts.
Then after the postman bought that this morning I went for a drive down to my LHS and lo and behold I saw this on their shelves..

I hardly even knew about this kit and now I have it! I built the horrid chinese Academy copy a few years ago for the swing-wing campaign. I am sure this will be much much better.
Seems to have detail in all the places you need it.
You may be right, I may be crazy.
