lol... I have been buying kits like this for years now Terri. I think I could open my own shop, but I do have plans to build all of them at some time. I try and build at least one per week..

Delivered today morning: decals for Jan Zumbach Spitfires probably with all known versions of the "duck", kill markings, serials and other stencils for Mk.Vb. Tamiya kit is already waiting in the stash so maybe one day I'll start this build But first Mk.IX has to be finished...

Yup, Warren is a force of nature.

I'm on a kit freeze, but....

Picked up this in the kit swap £15 not much cheaper than retail. Been after it since it came out though. I think I may have bitten off a large chunk here. But it looks great.

Wish me luck.

@ JP: that is 1/48 scale, are you sure you had your glasses on when you picked it up JP? Happy building.

@ Warren: when can we come over and start purchasing our hobby needs .

@ Damian: meet you at Warren's house for a quick run through his LHS.

@ Paul: please let me know how the Bristol M1c comes out.

@ Michal: nice decal selection, are you really planning to build a squadron of Spit? I would like to see the photos.

Warren, I did not get to Australia while in the US Navy so this would be a good excuse.

You are welcome to stay here anytime Bob. Although I don't know how an ex-Navy person would go with an ex-Air Force person..

Perfectly Warren, I was what we call an airdale (aircrew, ordnace) on P-3 Orions scouring the big pond for subs so much fun being bored for 12-16 hours at a time. Your country had a few aircrews that trained with my squadron back in 1972. I think the Canadians were at the same base in their Argus maritime a/c converting to the P-3 and Australian crew came in P-2 Neptunes to train on the P-3, rowdy bunch

Oh yes, very much

And for the sixth day in a row, yes the postman bought stuff..

1. Voyager Steel Road wheels for T34/76 in 1/35. I have had a T34 sitting for about 2 years and when I finally had a look at it I found it was missing two road wheels!! Argh!! These look to be beautifully moulded, but it is only a set of eight, which means just four wheels.. Why would you mix them I wonder?

2. Eduard PE for Tristar 1/35 Pz.IV Ausf.B.

3. Eduard PE for Tristar 1/35 Pz.IV Ausf.D.

4. Eduard PE for Trumpeter Sd.Kfz. 7/1 (late) Flak 38 20mm. I have three of the Trumpeter kits and otwo of the Dragon ones for these vehicles, both 20mm and 37mm varienties. What can I say, I love them!

5. Eduard 1/35 Zimmerit for Sdkfz.166 Brummbar. You watch, Dragon will bring out a Brummbar with Zimmerit moulded in now..

6. Eduard 1/35 Zimmerit for Tamiya King Tiger. This is an old kit I have had lying around for ages and I thought I would give the brass zimmerit a go.

Got all these cheap on Ebay from AAAHobbies. Good service. I'll be taking orders for stuff when you are ready..

Hi there

A nice package arrived today, courtesy of Dragon USA (I think) via Staff_Jim:

It's a limited edition and the parts look like they may be the old Frog kit that I remember (but never built) from the dim and distant days of my youth. I might go for a build-review of this one as it's a tad unusual.

All the best
