Nice one Steffen
I was in touch with Sergey earlier this week and he's hoping to get the first castings of his Bf 109F sets next week, so they should hopefully be available commercially soon.
All the best
Rowan

Hi again
Postie delivered a nice bundle of new sets from Eduard, courtesy of Jean-Luc

I'll be doing a round-up of Eduard's Spitfire Mk. IX sets designed for the Tamiya kit. The 1:48 Bf 110D masks have arrived at the perfect moment because I have the Dragon kit all set to start thinking about throwing some paint at it!
All the best
Rowan

Got Revell's P-47 D30 from Modelhobbies.co.uk.

It took less than a week to arrive!
I read several good things about this little kit, but only after having taken a first look at the sprues I just made an idea about the level of detail, which is awesome!
The decals feature an unusual matt film. I think I'll go for the French OD/Grey version.
There are a little flashes, but nothing serious. The canopy is a little scuffed (not packed separately) and there are flashes too (maybe because the mould is not well maintained?), but it's usable in my opinion.
It promises fun!

Postie has delivered an absolutely stunning set of samples from Eagle Editions!

If I'm not on-line in the near future it'll be because I've got my nose in a good book!

Hi Rowan.
Is the book on the TA-152 the one that Wendee, the Eagles Chick is reading?

Well my postie had two large boxes to drop off this week one from LuckyModel and another from HLJ neither of which I'd used before.
This is what they contained:

The small blister is a Wolfpack resin conversion refuelling probe for the Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat

Cool stuff Luciano!! .. great day at customs?
I also got a small parcel from Lucky today. I grabbed the Tamiya Spit Vb for 10 Euro (will be a tribute to Adolf err Adol
ph) and a gun barrels set for early Fw 190s for another 8€
BTW they have now the new Tamiya A6M3 Zero and the AFV F-5E with another nose in stock (not the Recce bird) ... if only I had more budget

cheers

Cheers Steffen, well the HLJ parcel came through customs unseen

so only had to pay for the LuckyModel one
Now to save up for the Eduard Fw-190D-9 and D-11 kits, next month I think.

Hi Steffen
No, this one has been planned for a while - we've just been working out the right time to go for it. We'll be kicking off at the end of July, once Jean-Luc gets back from his summer holiday.

That'll give me time to finish the Bf 110.

All the best
Rowan
