Hi guys,
We've got 12 enlisted now so hopefully we'll get the official nod of approval soon
@Rowan: A V-19 Special, very nice indeed. What happened to the Flitzer? Maybe you could build both?
@Steffen: a campaign you're not interested in, eh? Never say never You could be lucky number 13 on our list
@Mark: Hi Mark, welcome aboard. If you want to enlist you have to click the link in the first post, log in and click the "Enlist" button. Your call sign should then appear on the list. All the best,
Mike.

Hi gang
@Rowan: I do not worry about abbreviations. Lw 46 is totally o.k. but Luft 46 is like Water67 ... What does that mean .. nothing ! ... we talk again when you have finished the 4 Models you promised in the campaigns
@Mike: Well, I have a display in mind where a P.1101 or Ta 183 stands together with a Sabre, MiG-15 and Tunnan but there are so many much more interesting projects on my bench that I am happy that I do not participate in this campaign
all the best
Steffen

Hi Steffen
It's actually more than that! I'm in for a busy year in 2009...

Hi Mike
The Flitzer is still my favourite to build - I've got a desert scheme in mind. Build both? - that would definitely be pushing it a bit! I'll have to see how things go...

....not really into Luft 46 but from the modelling view point why not - at least no-one can turn round and say, ' wrong, it wasn't like that'. Got a couple of things in my stash that are suitable, the Revell P. 1101 for starters....I'm in...or perhaps a Do 335 ..does that count?

Welcome aboard! I think either kit would qualify.

got the Revell re-boxing of this one...might look quite neat in some ace's markings ,say, 'Yellow 14 in a desert scheme with a 400 kill ribbon on the tail fin !! - well perhaps not the night fighter variant..
BTW any banner yet for this campaign ? would be nice to drum up a little support on one of the other forums where I hang out...where the neat model of the machine above has just been posted

H Neil
Great idea about the banner. I came up with one today (it's now my signature image). Please feel free to use it to gather some support.
I'll have to check out that site, looks interesting, that desert scheme looks mean
All the best,
Mike.

Hello Gents,
I want build a 'Stuka' ground attack plane, but in version 1946 with IR and antitank missiles and special camouflage etc.
Is this accepted for this campaign?
Best regards
Dirk

Czesc Dirk!
Personally, I don't have a problem with it, seeing as "What ifs" are allowed in the campaign rules. make sure to sign up in the campaign section,
Mike.

Hi there. As promissed on the other thread here is some warming up spice. Revell's Blohm und Voss P.194 in 1/72. I tried an experimental scheme that I made up(at least I think I did) and it is(or will be) finnished as a hypothetical(did I spell it right?) member of ZG26, early spring 1946 .
I will upload more as I build it further. Needs a little more dirt and weathering. Bye...

Just wanted to say, Neil I really, really like your Messerschmitt P 1101 in desert colors! Fantastic! I guess the colors are RLM 78 on the bottom, with RLM 79 on top with RLM 80 splotches? A great build! Makes me want to join the campaign. I might built a desert scheme too I am so impressed.
Jolly Roger, your Blohm and Voss asymetrical design is great looking as well. All the best. Russell

Nice camo there Yalym. It kind of looks like the tarpauling we have on our old trucks in the swedish home guard. Looking forward to your next idea!

Just signed up. My FW 190 campaign model is winding down (should be done in a week or so) so I signed up for a couple of other campaigns for the Spring/Summer. Got a Pro Modeler TA-154 on the way so I think that is going to be my entry.
Since that Kurt Tank project never got far beyond the prototype stage by wars end, I might take some liberties and get a little 'jiggy' with the paint scheme.
