I know what you mean. I also only have 1/48 and 1/32 swastikas in my stash.
Anyway, the Flitzer looks good as it is.

Looks good so far, Daniel. Incredible how relatively few changes on the fuselage can change the look of the basic Me 262 to such a large extent. Have you decided on the camouflage for this Luft ´46 plane?

Totally agree.
This Me 262 variant has always been a favourite of mine so it's really nice to see Daniel doing it justice.
I echo Jesper, what scheme are you planning Daniel?
I know you are going to say...just wait and see
And Nito's Flitzer looks good too.
Cheers

Lovely job on the pre-shading Daniel. Looking forward to seeing more.
I haven't started yet, but here are some sprue shots to keep you interested
I should be up and running in a few days. An initial dry-fitting of the main parts has shown some srious gap-filling

Hi folks,
Hope everone is well.
This is my entry for the campaign. Revell 1/72 Horten Go229 OOB
The camo is meant to depict winter on the steppe.
I am lucky that the model is still in one piece as it was placed on the window sill and our 10 week old kitten spotted a moth next to it......thanks goes to my son who came to the rescue.

I really like your Gotha 229. The camoflage is unique. I have thought of building another one and doing something similar pattern wise on the top of the aircraft. Thought I would provide a couple shots of my Gotha 229. It isn't being entered into the campaign because it was built a couple of years ago; just thought it would be fun to include it for a look. Once again, good job on the wing!

Very nice Horten, Keith. You did a good job on the camouflage. A big area like that just screams out for a nice camo job. Well done.
Thanks for participating.

Hi all,
Thanks for your comments.
I have always been fascinated by this aeroplane and campaigns such as this allows an opportunity to get away from armour modelling. Thanks to the organizers.
May even do another one.
Cheers,
Keith

Continuing with this model I just paint the underside with RLM 76 and when it was dry I began masking it for the upperside,

Nice progress, Daniel. The camouflage came out very well. Looking forward to see more.
Mark, what an excellent choice. This will look very good and be quite a unique combination. It will be an interesting project to follow.

Hi,
Nice camo job Daniel. The mottling effect looks great.
Mark, can't wait to see what you do with all those kits ...

Hi guys,
I've started working on the trolley. It has molded on wiring and air tanks that need to come off and be replaced.

The lines extend out to the wheels.

Some scraping and sanding later they are gone.

There seem to be a lot of ejector pin marks to get rid of.

more soon,
Mark

This looks like a good place to start for my very first "campaign" attempt - in fact, I've just recently been back into modeling so I'm having some fun with it!
As I am already involved in assembling a "mess" of late-war Luftwaffe aircraft, I'll likely share some of what I am doing as I get individual builds completed. Going to definitely be giving my new compressor and airbrush a workout!

I would guess so, but I am not the campaign leader, so I cannot decide for sure. It is a very late war design, so it would be very logical that it would be in service in 1946.
I have now started work on my Triebvogel in 1/72. Very quick to build although the "wings" and wheels are difficult to align. More to follow shortly.
