emre, nice eggplane you got there, clean nice built and cute too.
martin, great camo you got there. the rafale sure looks business like.
rob, your f-16 is very convincing, you sure the aussies don't have them?..
jesper, the valkyrie looks very business like, I won't want to mess with it.
chris, you jaguar is very nice, great combination of colours.

I second Ken! Everyone has been doing an outstanding job.
@Paul, your Fokker looks great.
@Sam, can't wait to see you anime F-14
Okay, well my Ram Air turbine is finally done, now known as the ABPW-101 Macduff (as in "Lay on Macduff, and damn'd be him that first cries, 'Hold, enough!')
The second picture is the full load out for the plane. This includes the afore mentioned Auto Bagpipes as well as the other well known psyops weapon, the Air to Ground Psychological Unit-80 aka the AGPU-80 Haggis. Also included in the load are 2 AMRAAM missiles, 2 Mk-77 Hoot Mon area denial bombs, and 6 standard AGM-65 Mavricks

I was hanging back, clearing off my workbench (too many cool campaigns going!), but you folks are doing such great work and I'm having a mental block on what to do next on my Davey Jones build, so I've determined to catch some of this energy and started this one...
There's not too much to the old Heller kit, and I'd just built one for the Corsairs campaign, so initial build is going quickly, (ignore the landing gear broken off my youngest's 1/32 P-51B and the cut-up canopy of my Davey Jones Avenger)...
The canopy will be closed on this one, so the cockpit was left simple, as this is the closest anyone will ever see it again ...
Once again on this kit, the fit of the wings is terrible. Here I've added shims to hold it in the correct position as it dries...
Cheers!

Great looking model Paul thanks for joining in
Bruce really liking the armament
Sean welcome aboard thats quick progress.
I will get some more done to the F-2 but the decals are horrid to work with they are really thick but can break up quite easily in water, its a case of decal on bath in the stongest decal solution possible. Its nearly ended up being What if sam loses her temper with a kit and its decals Im not going to be beaten but might not put the small stars on

The Traveller returns! (Oh, what a portentious phrase that is. Or is that pretentious?)
The main assembly is done. Cleanup awaits, and then painting. I'm going to try and see whether I can paint it before installing the upper wing. I've given the empennage a little animation. It's difficult to see but the tailwheel is turned to match the rudder, and of course the yoke is in the full nose-down position and the rudder pedals kicked over to the left. (That's one that many modellers forget; neatly posed flight control surfaces and in the cockpit it's as if it's flying straight and level.)

@Jessie: Pretentious? You? I think not! Portentous? Quite possibly I'm sure this build will elicit amazement and wonder! (I'm adhering to the Webster's dictionaries second definition!) Another elegant build Jessie I look forward to seeing it completed.

Here are a couple of in progress pics of the XB-70 I'm doing for this campaign. I've sanded and scribed the panel lines, added a few bumps here and there and will use Two Bob's B-1B marking. Paint...probably 1990s SAC grays and greens.
I'll argue you'll never have to prove your bravery in any other way should you foolishly decide to build this kit.

Im jumping in to quite a few campaigns but had not really found a reason to join this one...but this evening Ive been toying with my E-2 to C-2 conversion andI had an amusing idea...
what if Grumman offered a civilian version of the C-2 Greyhound for regional outback airlines ?
Im actually thinking of Air Marshall Islands

Hi All,
Some very interesting subjects are progressing here, [I had to take a break from model building for the past couple of months, in helping look after my mother], but in the free I have had I managed to finish my 'Peregriene Aussie F 16', from number 76 Squadron, I made this bird as 'dirty' as possible from {What If} CAP missions over the Timor Sea and with a replacement canopy.
If time permits I would like to build another 'Aussie' F-16 in the Low Viz {2 tone Grey} scheme.

@Rob: Awesome falcon Rob! Do I see a replaced tail as well? As is doesn't seem as dirty as the rest of the plane.

Granadier and Jonathan, excellent ideas. Those are the kind I like too.
Rob, great as usual on that Aussie F-16.
During the site's downtime, I made my plane's floats:
and make sure to wear gloves, because if you focus too much on your work with #60 grit sandpaper, you could sand through your thumb...
and here, to maintain the edge of my v-bottom shape, I masked each half as I sanded the other side...
So far, I've sanded them to shape with the aforementioned #60 grit sandpaper, then painted with household latex flat ceiling white, then sanded with #100 grit. Next I'll spray primer and sand finer yet to try to hide the woodgrain.
This is also good practice for our first Cub Scouts pinewood derby build coming up!
Cheers,
Sean H.

Now that I have the Comet finished, I can do a little more with the Traveller. Here's a Pratt & Whitney R-985 ready and eager to pull my little Traveller wherever it wants to go.
I added the spark plug wires and data plaque. Everything else is right out of the box, including the pushrods, which don't look too bad once there's a little paint on them.

I enlisted in this campaign today. I now have the parts for the commercial version of the Grumman C-2 as described earlier.
The graphics for Air Marshall Islands I will have to create.
the stripes and red-on-white text will be easy, but that white star on blue background may prove difficult.
It will also have rows of windows for a passenger compartment accommodating about 60 passengers.

Grate work everyone.
Here’s my entry’s progress. Cockpit scratching and fuselage works on the Ta-183s (there will be two of them).

This is the Cockpit for the 1/72 Testors ATB. Not much to see so I didn't really bother going too crazy (test fits revealed you can barely see the seats!) I hit it with black and then tried to go over it softly with brown to create a fade effect. Actually worked ok, just hard to see in the pics (And impossible to see when the model is sealed!)
Incredible talent on display here everyone! Happy to be a part of this GB
