At last the miniart twin Lewis and Vickers guns arrived! Woohoo! So I will crack on with the RE8 this evening. I'll post some pictures - I hope of the finished kit - soon.

Those miniart guns are something else aren't they! I have the same RE8 kit, with those twin Lewis guns waiting for me in my stash, I'm looking forward to seeing how they look on a finished model.

They are real beauties. It is a bit tricky attaching them to the mount and getting them parallel. Will post pics this evening...

Nice job Matthew. I think the wait for those guns was worth it, they really add to the model and are a nice little focal point

I enjoyed building Airfix's RE8 even though it does require a lot of love. I still can't believe it first rolled of the Airfix production line back in 1958....

According to the campaign admin medal list you are shown as having a ribbon awarded and it shows up on your campaign ribbon panel!
