Her is my starting photo of a Revell 1/72 Hawker Hurricane. This is my only kit that qualifies for the 75th Anniversary Battle of Britain Campaign. It's a 1963 release and has some issues, including a missing canopy and questionable decals. On the plus side it has almost no flash, some engraved panel lines, and does resemble a Hawker Hurricane. The idea is to build it as a hanger queen.

Ernest, thank you for the post. The kit is quite nice despite being 52 years old.

i've got my entry finished but it was a close run thing!
about three weeks ago all i needed to do was decal it then matt coat, however the kit decals had other ideas-
this kind of knocked the wind out of my sails for this, and i was contemplating backing out and not completing a campaign for the first time ever.......
but then, did a bit of googling and found that aviaology's vital storm 2 early hurricanes, had the decals for this aircraft included in the set, which kickstarted my mojo to get this one done.
these photos aren't that brilliant, as i've taken them indoors, i'll get some better ones tomorrow, plus a more detailed post of how i built this kit.

The system throws it into the "done" category at the beginning of the last day. I count until midnight at the international date line of the last day. So you have several hours left. Go to it!

Unfortunately that does me no good. Living in Boise, which is US Mountain Time you subtract 7 hours from IDL which gives me till 5:00 PM which of course is the time I get off work....
So should I do my finishing touches and post them or just not worry... Since it will be to late?
I never ran into this issue on any of the other builds I participated in, sorry.

No Jeff, you have until midnight in the middle of the PACIFIC OCEAN. That date line. Lots of time yet.

Well I guess I am calling this one done.
I did not get to do any post weathering no time, I did pre-shade it.
All the decals except for the German crosses and the white A outlined in red where printed on my color laserjet, including The shield and all stencils for this AC.
The is F1+AS from Kg76.8
I also did not get to put the PE gun sites on all the guns, or make the hinges for the lower entry door.
Maybe sometime in the future I will come back to it and finish it off.
The images are not that great, The lighting was not very good. But here you go.......

Jeff,
I love the paint job and the decals! I have to say that's the best looking paint job i've seen on a German bomber model.
Well done!
