or should I say... I bet we're forced to

Mark Sean and Thomas: Thank´s for the encouraging words!
Thomas: Nice interior work. The gap at the nose is really remarkable!
Gary: Your Dornier looks excellent, but the Messerschmitt will steal the show. It is just too cool!
Radek: Your Camo is spot on. Great work. Like to see more of this. Got one of these airfix gems in my stash, too!
The masquerade turned out well on my anteater. Decals are on and after a reserved chipping, a wash of oil colours was applied. Next will be some post shading!

Thank's for the comments, Guys!
Oliver, very good work. The paint, wash and panel lines are looking really nice.
Last time I mentioned the engines but forget to show. Now you can see. After painting I find out that their diameter is bigger than the the cowling (no dryfitting before - my fault, couldn't imagine that there will be an issue
)
So the result you can also see in the pics - had to sand it down but luckily no one can see. The main fit of the cowling parts themselves and in connection to the wing is not the best, filling and sanding is relevant.
As for the fuselage - windows are in (they all fit nice but are not very clear despite polishing and floor-wax). Already glued a piece of styrene to the gap at the nose. So have a last look at the assembled interior (added a scratched ladder and did not use the decal-seatbelts) and say goodbye to it because I'm going to close the halves and my next post won't show them again.

@Jose: Nice work Jose! Awesome build of the Betty and ohka.
@Oliver: Nice work on the Anteater buddy!
@Thomas: The kit is certainly throwing up a feast of short run issues to clean up. Great work keep at it! I have one of these in the stash as well I'mm taking notes and will use them when I build mine.
Nothing to update yet still waiting for the postman to bring me my masks and until then not much to report, just about finished with the decals though. Airfix certainly lifted their game when it comes to their decals that's for sure, however the decals in this kit are remarkably fragile. But the stencils are quite detailed and the printing is legible under a strong magnifying glass.

WOW guys, another great bunch of progress updates!
Jose, beautiful build. I love the colours and the weathering. Congratulations on getting finished and thanks for joining in and sharing your work!
Thomas, very nice work on the Hudson, getting the fuselage buttoned up is a great step forward. Nice work on getting the radials to fit into those cowls as well.
Oliver, your 335 is looking really good. The post shading should really make it pop!
Radek, lovely work on the splinter scheme, it looks great! I am looking forward to seeing the markings go on now.
I have just noticed that we still don't have a Campaign Gallery set up, apologies for the oversight. I have PM'd the higher powers to get things rolling and will link it up ASAP.
Roll Call/Build Status just got another workover, keep the updates flowing in everybody!
Cheers, D

The campaign gallery is indeed set up! Since this campaign started in 2015, it's under that heading.
Great work everyone, so post away!!

Thomas: Wow this kit has more issues than I thought, but You are coming along with it very nicely!
Jose: Very nice finish on Your project. I like the shading of the Betty very much and the Okha is the clue of this build
!

Good evening guys,
Thank you for comments
@Jose - fantastic finishing! Congratulations.
@Thomas - great work so far... That cowlings though... dang calling them bad fitting would be applause for them
. But I'm sure you'll overcome the "issue".
Now to some small progress I made.
Clear coat dried, so it was time for decals. With help of Microscale's SOL & SET they went down pretty well except those big crosses on bottom of the wings... One of them went curvy a little bit. Due to political correctness of Airfix I had to invest in some... hakenkreuzes set from Xdtradecal.
SO here's the plane with decals of 8./Kampfgeschwader 77, Laon/Couvron, Northern France 07-1940
I'll let decals to dry well overnight and tomorrow the satin gloss to protect them from messing up with weathering stuff
Cheers,
Radek

Apart from self inflicted issues? The wings were warped a bit in the assembly but nothing clamping didn't solve

Guys,
sorry for additional post, but it seems to be some problem with the pictures I embedded in my last post. Can you let me know if you can see them?
It seems something changed again with the google pics that keeps the "broken links" if you're not logged to google account, even if picture is shared to public (or to be more precise - "have link" share)
.
Cheers,
Radek

Thank you Chris, I used photobucket, but as I'm using google's services as primary source for backing up some stuff I decided to try linking them here. "Funny" thing is that other pics from same service are well visible in one of my earlier posts, but those four aren't.
Let me do another try with these ones:
Cheers,
Radek

Radek, now the pics are there - very good progress!!! Upper and and under surface looking really nice painted as well as the decals do a great job. And all is soooo shiny
BTW, thanks for your words. I'm trying to overcome that mess(and for sure that's not the only issue)
