HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
With my Ki-46 about 95% complete and a few days remaining in the campaign, I've added a 2nd build to finish.

A classic Airfix figure set from their Multi-pose series of 54mm kits.

Going with the standard "Banzai" pose.

Figure went together with no problems. I did have to do a little putty work here and there.

Used electrical tape to make the equipment straps.

Now it's a fun, quick paint job for him and a few licks of paint for the Dinah. Deadline fast approaching and "Loving It!"

Pains me but I'm going to have to drop out of campaign. issues at work have over the last 4 months have been coming one after the other and has eaten up not only my spare time but my energy to work on things in my spare time. so no way i'm going to be finished in the next week so i'll just have to wait till Aifix 5 and hope things will be more stable

Well, I don't think I'll be finished in a week, but I'll be close....

Actually this is the most fun I've had using my airbrush in a long time. Had an older bottle of Floquil Military Color that I shot straight from the bottle no thinner, no problem.

Like Gary said, William: Bonzai!

Well, pre-shading done: my airbrush didn't wanna play too nice, but I hope it all gets covered...

I think I'm going to need a couple of weeks extension Michael: just putting it out there now

Russell, I feel your pain, I could use another couple of weeks. My airbrush behaved nicely last night on one model, left odd 'water marks' on another.

But here's the original Airfix decals for the TBM.

I saw a replacement set on evilbay, same condition, but they wanted U$7.50???? I've got enough stars and bars to make good, but no white numbers.. I found a set of numbers online, but it'll be a few days before it gets here...

Feels like there's more tape on the plane than paint.

I will say that spraying Tamiya paint was only a little less fun than the Floquil last night.

Looks like I've got a bit of touch up to do, but it's almost better than I hoped.

Mark, there's nothing like a non co-operative airbrush to ruin your day is there?

Your avenger's looking great though

Chris, I reckon you're closer to finishing than I

Thanks Russell. Actually, both the Floquil and the Tamiya were joys to spray. I've given up on my Badger compressor and hooked up the portable compressor and tank for my air tools. So air pressure pulses are no longer a problem. But then both the Vallejo and Testors acrylics refused to spray neatly on my F-16C.

Update on my Japanese Infantryman.

Base coat painting done. Shading is up next.

Weapon and head gear are being readied.
I will finish my Ki-46 and Mr. Soto here in a couple of days. Thanks for viewing. Bill

Maybe a 2 week extension would help some of us to finish our projects??????

Thanks Gaz and Russell.
Lap Man, you got the best out of that old Airfix Tiger kit. It looks terrific. I like the paintwork. Bill
PS:Only one thing could make it better, a tank commander in the cupola.

Here is my Airfix now Dapol British Rail 10T Meat Van from the mid 1950's. This is a weighted working model with the large non-scale working couplers. The scale hook coupler is still on the buffer beam in the end photo.

Brent that's a very nice looking rail van (as rail vans go ) and Peter that TSR2 looks fantastic!

I think i'd need at least 2 week extension if I'm going to have any chance of finishing...
