Excellent work. I keep thinking about getting one of these and doing it in SEA camo for a what if model.

Great result with the TSR, Peter. It looks fantastic with the muted roundels. I've enjoyed watching it progress to fruition.

Final reveal on Airfix 54mm Japanese Soldier.
Uniform and equipment were painted with Vallejo acrylics.
Skin tone shading done with Testors enamels.
Kit decal of flag was enormous. I made a smaller one for attachment to rifle.
Figure is attached to styrene rock with a steel pin.
The gold star emblem on headgear is made out of thin sheet styrene.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone's builds. I had a blast working on my projects. Thanks for having such a great campaign.

Final Reveal on the Ki-46 Dinah armed variant.
Decided to make an airfield diorama with the Dinah as the focus.
Added the Hasegawa Starter truck and Red Box ground crew figures.
I had a wonderful time participating in this fun campaign.

Thank you Bill!
Wow! Both kits of yours are very impressive, especially your diorama with the already excellent Dinah!
- Mark Thanks! A TSR 2 in that camouflage should look great!

Hi,
Peter, your TSR.2 is really awesome.
William, it's too fast when both your items finished before the deadline. Again, I used your pics for the background.
Some progress until 1st, Dec. Inside this weekend, I'll finish my FA2. Wait me, please.
Regards,
K.

Great work all round in this campaign everyone. Loving the TSR2, dinah and the harrier looks like a last minute winner too !

Well with a lack of response from Admin regarding an extension we press on regardless. The Canberra is almost done just the last minute fiddly bits to do then I'm done here's where she's at right now.

Mr. K, Your Harrier is looking very nice. Cool pre-shading.
Chris, Love the Canberra. She's a big plane.
*** Considering the number of entrants requesting a few more weeks to finish the campaign, I guess it's a Fait Accompli. Keep going fellows. Let's get a high completion percentage. ***
PS: I'd even like to tackle a 3rd entry. I have a really horrid T-34 and equally appalling set of Soviet infantry.

I've received some requests for an extension and, hearing no objections, the request is granted. I'm extending this one to 17 December. But that's it, so pedals to the metal everyone!

Thanks Michael! We appreciate all your efforts, now with my lips firmly planted on Mr Satin's glorious posterior The Canberra is almost done!
I had the metaliser paints from Humbrol out for the Tomcat and painted the polished ring at the rear of the Canberra engines. She's looking pretty smart and I agree with you bill she's a big aircraft in 1/48 scale.

Chris,
That looks awesome. Great work on the details. What is that color? I can't decide whether it's gray, tan, or some kind of buff.

3rd entry into campaign....Airfix 1/76 T-34 w/ Infantry.
This is a really old kit and the molds show time's toll.
I bought this at a show as a bagged kit. There were no instructions and only a partial decal sheet present. Upon checking, I found the front idler wheels missing. YIKES!!!! I replaced the missing wheels with spares from a Fujimi kit.
In a time capsule box from my youth, I found some Airfix Soviet infantrymen. Notice all that vintage flash! Aaah!
So with an additional 2 weeks left in the campaign, I'm looking forward to tackling these old kits. Happy Modeling! Bill

Thanks Russell...I just thought this old dog kit needed some TLC.
Update on the T-34 w/ Soldiers.
Cut open the engine screen and added mesh and styrene detail. Also added spare P.E. details to other vents. Scraped away molded grab handles. I replaced them with wire items. Relocated headlight to proper position for a T-34/85.
Turret assembly required some putty work. Going to replace over sized kit fuel drums with spare items. Started work on the figures. Mold lines needed removal.
One of the run of kit tracks split. Using old school repair method of sewing them together. Yikes!
The tracks are back together, though they wouldn't win any awards for neatness. Hahaha!
Thanks for viewing. Good luck everyone on finishing your projects. Bill

Well, I haven't had to got to that level of old school. But my decals are so toasted
that I had to paint on the ID triangles.
I have some Star and Bar decals in the stash, but I had to go to Evil bay for the white numbers.

Hi guys got the Canberra finished although I had a hiccup with the post shading being way to dark. The mix I use for post shading is usually pretty thin but I hadn't noticed a loss of thinners and it was almost paint consistency. Oh well live and learn, I could remove it as the alcohol thinners removed the coat of Klear I used as a varnish/sealer. So I simply made her look well used.
