Looks like I'm getting into this one a little late! But, I finally got the PE interior for my HH-53 "Super Jolly Green" so I can start 'er up!
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with markings...I'm looking for a very specific aircraft. An AirForce HH-53 from the 40th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron.
It flew from the Nakhon Phanom (RTAFB) base. It was in the Saigon and Phnom Penh evacuations.
Any help or point in the right direction would be great! Thanks guys!

Sorry all for the late notice. I haven't had internet access for over a week due to a line fault.
I am very sorry to keep you all waiting for this but the news on my Hobby Boss kit is that eventually, a week ago, the joy of throwing it against the wall surpassed the joy of completion. Normally I would not be so pleased with this outcome but this kit was a chore from the get-go. There was much satisfaction in its disintegration and I have started to build a kit that I have been putting off until the completion of the CH-46. I will not be going near a Hobby Boss kit ever, ever again....
Thanks to all involved for the campaign. I have enjoyed everyone else's builds a lot more than mine.
Merry Christmas all.

I’d like to thank everyone who has finished their helicopter models, and to those who tried to get in on time…We had 18 of 44 helicopters completed, not to bad. Campaign ribbons were awarded, if I missed anyone please PM me. It was a great campaign build, many choices and colors. If enough support we will do this again in the fall of 08’ so keep it in mind.
Happy New Year

Joe, Thank you for running such a great, entertaining and educational campaign, and doing it very well.
Thanks to everyone who built, commented and otherwise contributed.
This has been my first experience at being involved in both a forum and a campaign build so it has been a new and exciting experience for me.
One I will want to repeat over the years to come.
See you all in the soup!
Grubby.

Got to agree, a great campaign, count me in for another one, just point me to a better kit next time.

Hi Joe
Great and long campaign. Thanks for running it.
It has been great to follow the many different builds and participate with a Soviet attack chopper that I would otherwise not have had fun researching and building. Count me in for the next one as well.
Looking forward to it - maybe a Hind next time....

2008 definitely would be incomplete without a helicopter campaign.
