Well, the Fitter looks great! Is it a new tool or a rebox of something? EDIT: I found the answer. It's the Esci kit. Has anyone built it? How is it? LINK

Hi Giacomo it is the OEZ kit, later re-issued by kopro. If you read the newsletter Vladimir explains that datailed there. It was a very good kit when it came out, but now it is over 20 years old ... quite soft panel lines, but the over all shape is good and if I am not mistaken it is the only kit in town ... The resin and PE will help a lot and I like the camo schemes. I think I will go with the Egyptian Nile-scheme .... OTOH Iraq is tempting too Someone build that kit for the Alu campaign (IIRC, and I think it was Jesper) all the best Steffen

Thanks Steffen! Also the Indian one looks nice!

I wonder if we'll see a more affordable Su-7 weekend edition, without all the extraneous metal and resin?
MAR 25, 2010 - 12:55 PM
Hi there I wouldn't have thought so. As Steffen's pointed out, this is a reissued kit from another manufacturer, so I expect Eduard have to licence it, just like their limited edition versions of the Airfix Spitfire and Accurate Miniatures Stormovik. Take away the Eduard-produced extras and you negate the whole point of the release for them. If you really want just the basic kit, you can probably find it in its original form(s) on sale on eBay. All the best Rowan

Steffen is entirely right, It was me building the SU-7. It is an OK kit, but it really needs some PE and resin to bring it up to an acceptable standard compared to current kits. You can see more details in my build tread "Pimp my SU-7" HERE

Hi Jesper Wow, my mind did not play tricks with me .... and you know what; not only that I was right, I am building the Eduard kit right now See my B-Log all the beest Steffen
