Sadly, I'm not going to be able to finish my bird in time. I'm still unable to build for any great length of time, it's short bursts only at the moment.
Lovely builds posted so far, really impressive subjects. Well done all!

Hello everyone,
FINALLY ! I have completed the OA-4M. I think I was cursed in the final stretch. Last night at work I managed to drop the canopy part that allows it to be in the raised position in the Blue/Grey carpet. I did not find it until I heard “Crunch” I broke it in four pieces. Glued it all back together got the canopy painted and attached. Left work this morning got home without mishap. Then was preparing to shoot the pictures and I snapped the nose wheel off “AAAAAUUUUGGGGG”. Glued it back on and let it sit suspended a couple hours and here we are.
I think I will make a base for the model and attach it to keep the nose wheel from breaking again. The kit came with a boarding ladder as well. Maybe I might make a small diorama with ground crew and some accessories. “Oh goodness what am I thinking”
Thanks Jean-Luc for a meaningful and nice campaign,
Brian

Brian - Great work and some nice saves at the end! What's the story behind this aircraft (no markings yet fully loaded)?
Russell - The payload sure is impressive! I've got to build me one of them attack aircraft. Nice build!
Cheers! // PolarBear

Hello Polarbear.
Thanks for the compliment. It's a US MARINES OA-4M from Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 12 "Outlaws" based at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan in the late eighties. If you look hard in some of my earlier post you will see the markings but they almost blend in to much with the Ghost Greys called for in painting instructions.
Sincerely,
Brian

Hi all!
The Mark Sharpe Campaign is over so I have awarded the ribbons. Below is the final table for this Group Build...
Thanks to all who have participated and congratulations to those who made the extra effort to finish their entries in the past couple of weeks (days). The extension was a good thing since the number of finished entries increased from 10 to 22 and the number of ribbons awarded from 9 to 17!
A special thanks to Bigskip for entering a collection of 5 models and to oraora for entering two models...
Some very fine models have been build in memory of Mark Sharpe during this Campaign. Thanks a lot for him...
Jean-Luc

Hi all!
Wow, many very nice models here!
Good job, everyone!
I know I´m late (as usual!) and It won´t be counted to the campaign, but I´ll post pics on my F-16 here until It´s done.
Finally, my airbrush up and running again and now I´m trying to catch up on some lost time!
I masked the underside and painted the dark grey areas freehand;
...some more masking to paint the landing gears;
Then it was a hard job to get all masking off the model (wihout damaging anything), and get ready for the clear coat.
Decalling took a few hours as there´s many small stencils on a modern jet!
But those new Tamiya decals works wonderfully and are very easy to apply.
They responded very well to the Micro-set and -sol and got that nice "melted" down look when they dried.
Especially the Tiger-Meet decals were just stunning!
Well, now I have some weathering to do before the final flat-coat.
I also have to decal the tanks and missiles, there´s lots of decals on those too!
Now I´m rollin´again, Hurrah!
Cheers!

How do we display the ribbons by the way?
