How do I upload a photo to the campaign gallery? I've seen other group builds talking about this. What does it mean? Does posting to this thread count?

They are talking about pyutting pictures into the gallery for the campaign.
for this one, it is here:
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/20719to upload there, log into Kitmaker (click to the "photos" tab above), click upload photos, and in the dialog where it asks what folder to upload to, specify the Between the Wars gallery.
You should link pics of your build to this thread too.

Excellent Vance great mentoring there.

Thanks for pointing him in the right direction! Don't forget to sign up. If you don't sign up you can't get the wings. If you don't post you can't get the wings! I am building a base for mine at this time as the build is completed. Home stretch gentle folk at the end of this month and we close the thread. Model On!

Hello everyone,
Made more progress on the I-16. I asked my son what decals he liked and he said “Popeye” so we are going with the Spanish Civil War version. I painted the undercarriage the day before and airbrushed the stripes tonight. I should have this finished by middle of next week.

Sincerely,
Brian

Looks good, Brian. This old kit is turning into a nice little beer keg

Will you use the kit's decals?
Looking forward to see more

Hello Jesper,
I don't trust the kit decals and I do have partial superscale sheet (48-474) of Republican I-16's that was given to me and one of the options is for a Popeye character. I should have the decals on by Monday.
Sincerely,
Brian

Thank you Carl, I applied a wash last night and I still want to add engine ehaust stains then apply a flat coat. I will post some pictures this evening. While I'm waiting on it to dry I will start my Twin Spinner entry (1/72 Martin B-10/12).
Sincerely,
Brian

Excellent build, Brian. It has a nice faded and worn look to it.
Hello Jesper,
Thank you for the compliment. I don't know what it was about this aircraft but I sure enjoyed building and painting it. I eagerly wait for your BF 109, rest assured if I see you in my six I will reverse 180 and take you "Head On"
Sincerely,
Brian

Unfortunately life and everything got in my way, and I won't be able to finish the P-1C. I'm quite bummed...

Hello Matt,
Thank you for the compliment. There was a couple things I think I would have done different in hindsight with the landing gear and cockpit, nothing major though. That said I really enjoyed building this aircraft.
Sincerely,
Brian

here is an update on my progress on the Arado 68F:

It still need some struts, a tail wheel, exhaust stubs, and a paint job.
So obviously I am not going to finish by the deadline in a couple days.
Has a precedence been set yet for extensions? if so, i'd like one...

No worries Matt I am giving everyone a 10 day grace period that needs it.

well, my Ar 68F is progressing - it has paint and decals now. I may actually be able to finish it up by the end of the extension if all goes well.
I have managed to loose the resin exhaust stubs somewhere along the line though. But I suspect I can manage to make replacement ones from plastic or aluminum tubing.
sorry, no update pictures right now - my camera is acting up (it has it's good days and bad days - I was using my girlfriend's, but she's reclaimed it and is now jealously guarding it).

well, not all has gone well - life has not allowed enough time. I am *almost* done, but won't manage the deadline of today.
things I still need to do:
- make some exhaust stacks - I lost the resin ones that came with the kit, and have started fashioning some out of aluminum tubing.
- paint the tires.
- finish cleaning up the weathering.
- paint the wooden prop
- add the gun barrels
- do the rigging.
- add the windsield
all that will take a couple hours that I don't have till tomorrow night.
I am going to press on thru and shoot for my own Tuesday morning deadline (in time for the local hobby club meeting that evening.
Hopefully I can get a campaign extension till then, but if not, no worries, i'll finish her anyway.
