About time Joel !

However though , your picture is a (x)..

Terri

Terri,
the picture shows up just fine at my end. Can you see the pictures on my final set of Mossie pictures I posted yesterday? I'm now using ImageShack rather then Photobucket which has been having horrific issues on and off logging in for some time. And Since I'm paying for the service it's just not acceptable any longer.

Terri,
Thanks for checking out my pride and joy.

If you don't use a hosting site, how do you post pictures here and on other boards?

I usually don't post my model purchases, but today I got a special early holiday gift from me to me. One of the reasons I made the switch to 1/32 scale props was the incredible detail that this scale affords the builder.

My brother and I just placed a Black Friday sale order with Sprue Brothers. 40% off their regular everyday price plus free shipping. I just couldn't resist, and bought the Tamiya 1/32 F4U-1A and their P-51D.

Joel

Be careful Joel - this is how stash building begins !

Richard,
I hear ya. I've got two more 1/32 scale kits coming next week from the Sprue Brothers sale, and I'm planning just two more kits, the Special Hobbies Hi-Tech Tempest, and the Kitty Hawk Kingfisher, even though I know it's a killer build.

At that point I'm literally set for 3 years of 2 1/32 scale builds, followed by a 1/48 scale build.

Terri,
Doesn't the gallery have a limit on the number of loaded images? If I recall I never did find out how to delete any pictures from my gallery.

You need to go to your album, open the photo you want to delete, then scroll down below the picture for the editing options. Click the "Edit Photo" icon:

Then, in the editing window, the bottom option deletes the photo forever:

Tick the tickybox and click the "Submit Changes" button. You have to do this one photo at a time. The forum software doesn't expect you to want to batch delete photos.

Hi Joel

I'm really looking forward to you tackling the Spad. Could you write us a review? - it's a boxing we haven't covered.

I also spotted the dead X too when you first posted, but it's come to life now.

All the best

Rowan,
Now that the Mossie is done and in the books. I was thinking of writing a feature on it as I really feel it's the best model I've ever built.

Next up is Trumpeters 1/32 F4F-3 Wildcat, then the Spad will be on my workbench. I could do a in box review if you like, but I prefer not to cut any parts off the sprue trees as I'm concerned about warpage while all the parts are back in the box. this is one very expensive kit, and I'm looking at ZM AM sets too.

Hi Joel

Nice one! It's in hand (Shameless plug to everyone - send us best builds to showcase on the Frontpage ).

Erik Mombeeck has sent us a sample of his latest Luftwaffe Gallery that looks an instant "must have" for all Luftwaffe enthusiasts. I'll have a full review on the way in due course, but with Xmas coming up... if you're looking for a present for someone with an interest in the Luftwaffe, you can't go wrong with Erik's book - it won't be a repeat of other titles that even the most dedicated enthusiast already has.

All the best

I have been enjoying my ZM 1:48 Ho 229 so much I couldn't pass this up when I saw it for $30. So cheap for such a great kit!

Very nice Richard! I was sorely tempted to switch to 1/32 but I have way too many 1/48 kits stashed away. I'd have to try and sell them off to afford new ones.

Richard,
I've switched to 1/32 scale just for single engine props, and there are some I'll still build in 1/48 scale. Space is the final frontier for all of us. I've got the Revell 1/48 scale PBY-5A seating on a shelf for a few years as I just can't figure out where to display it once I finish the build.

With that being said, I can't wait to follow your build.

Jessicas review HERE reminded me that I need to pick up the revised boxing of the 1/48 SH CAC CA-13 Boomerang to add to my collection. Arrived yesterday from Red Roo Models, really looking forward to this build. The upgrades from the previous boxing are definitely worthwhile.
