Arrived yesterday.

Really nice looking kit I can hardly wait to get stuck in with it. I'll certainly be getting their D.III OAW and D.I in the near future.
Oddly Roden give 3 out of the 7 finishing options for D.III's with offset radiators (Berthold,Von Bertrab and Allmenroeder's aircraft), but the kit has the central mounted radiator molded on the wing. I'll be finishing mine as one of Von R's machines so it won't affect me, but anyone thinking of getting one might want to be aware of it. Short of getting a spare wing for the OAW kit from Roden, not sure how that could be overcome.

During our expo in Mannheim last weekend my wallet was heavily (or was it happily?) hit by the Royal Swedish Air Force ....

I'm especially happy about this one here ....

.... and this goodie has also found some friends in my stash already ....

Hi again

Just in, courtesy of Barracuda Studios:

Drop me a line, anyone who's building a Tu-22 in 1:72 - it'd be great to get Roy's superb resin upgrades used "in anger"!

All the best

Hi again

Awesome new hauls!

@ Richard - I reckon your wife and daughters must be checking out our recent WNW posts. If they're in charge of your supply of new kits, you've got no worries - they've got it nailed!

All the best

Richard that was a great gift to get!
They are fantastic. It probably won't be their only kit you get. I treated myself to one a couple of months ago and before I knew it, I had three more!

Thanks Rowan !!
Just noticed I posted 2 "R" variants, but just got 1 box.
But the "Bis" are correct, 2 boxes for 2 markings.

Currently building Trumpeter's UM version.
PF will be next on the MIG's Workbench.

That Grunau Baby II looks sweeeet

Hi again

There's me drooling over the Hurricane, and the first two replies pick out the Grunau Baby! It's a real cutie of a kit and soooo tempting to get straight onto the workbench... but I've got enough underway already, so you'll have to make do with an in-box look for now.

All the best

Had a few things delivered over the last few days.

Firstly Swords 1/72 JP T.5B.

An old Modeldecal sheet covering the RAF and FAA during the 91 Gulf War.

Eduard 1/32 Lewis Guns. The photos really don't do these justice. They are superbly cast. I can't work out however, how the PE sights are supposed to be shaped.

And lastly one of my Holy Grail kits.

I had no idea Italeri had plans to reissue this, so I was very surprised when I stumbled across it looking for something else. I ordered it immediately! What can I say, I'm a huge fan of the Skyraider.

Well its been like Christmas here at Casa Aeroscale with a bumper box from Eduard.
Their Hasegawa based Harrier, with a few weapons sets thrown in, a new tool 1/72nd Spitfire Mk IXc and a plethora of upgrade sets, and last but not least an EduArt Sound of Silence with the artwork.
Reviews to follow shortly, and a build of the Harrier for the Harrier campaign.
