Hi all!
There is some really nice stuff to see here. It's good to see that this thread has it's own life now... it reminds me of Frankenstein somehow
That's what I got today...

In fact, I received the first batch one month ago and the rest today. Hannants had a huge sale on Eduard products lately and though I am not a big fan of PE detail parts I couldn't resist the temptation. Note that almost half the bags are for 1/48 scale Armor kits...

Hi again
Postie (and Amazon) did themselves proud today! I wasn't expecting John Vasco's book on the Bf 110 until next week:

Thanks to a power-cut at work this afternoon, I had a good chance to peruse the book. Fantastic! I don't think I can blame it on poor references if I make a total hash of Dragon's 1/32 scale kit!
All the best
Rowan

Hi all
I've been wondering if we should move the thread over to General Aircraft to include all aircraft modelling - what we've seen so far must be just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what Aeroscale members are buying!

Hi Rowan,
Yes, it should be moved to General Aircraft I think. I didn't realized it was under World War II only so far. I use the latest post page to access the forum. If we include the WWI and Modern guys as well, I think the Creature will make even more damage!
We should also send the link to this thread to potential Aeroscale advertisers...

Strange I was only thinking that this should be in the General Area when reading this the other day. So I agree with moving it.

Today awaiting for my arrival home was SuperScale decals for the Fokker D.VII Jasta 9,13,15,18 , 35 . ( more WW1 thingy )
Hay ! , it needs to get moved . This is really turning out to be something here . Passing it on to the producers sounds like a great idea . But don't they have a look and see already on what we are buying and disliking about their products ? Just asking . Love the idea of getting more people involved .
You are all getting some really neat stuff here , cool !

These arrived this morning from Promodeller. Really impressed as I only ordered them late on Thursday night.

Off to give them a go now

Hi Steffen, I normally go for home made mixes for a wash but I thought I'd give these a go as a few people have recommended them. They are a water based/clay based product and the quick play I had produced good results for less than 30 minutes work (pictures to follow).

Hi all
after a longer break today the post man had some modelling stuff for me. Sadly moduni failed to send the Color Zoom PE for the Nick ... hope they send it free (of P&P) as they promised. I will do the same plane J-L did and I won't have to handpaint the badge on the rudder

Of course this very a/c will be featured in one of the next Hasegawa issues .. doh.
Also in the pic is one of the photo lights that I got yesterday..

cheers

Hi Steffen
Very neat! - and here's looking forward your Ki-45.
Aeroscale's Postie has just delivered a lovely bundle of Hasegawa samples, courtesy of HLJ! Not all for me - I hasten to add!

There's the re-released A6M8 Zero and Bf 109E-4 and the new 1/72 scale solid-nose B-25J. Look out for Reviews soon.
All the best
Rowan
