I recieved this yesterday:

VERY good indeed, I especially like the new research into the TA152 White 7.

I will certainly be getting more of these.

Hi Howard

I am glad you like it. When I get the new edtition I normally read it cover2cover in one session. If you are into fighters, have a look at the other stuff too .. often there is very intersting material. ... BTW I am not associated with them ... just a BIG fan of the publication ..

How is your Do 217 coming along ... there is also an edition with a larger article about KG100 Hs293 missions in the mediterranean (Ed.6) ..

cheers

I did pretty much read it all last night. Some amazing information inside it. Stuff I'd never thought about let alone considered. The people behind it really do put some effort into it which is fabulous.

I will try to get hold of Ed6 then as my interest in KG100 has been sparked from the Dornier build. It's pretty much finished Steffen, I have the top aerial to fit on (I broke it last night so it is currently gluing in some blu-tak) and then add the crew door and she'll be ready.

Thank you for asking

Howard

Hi all,

Postie brought this yesterday...

I have been trying to get one for ages and this came up on Ebay. Cost me £20, but worth it I think. I have been building a Battle of Britain collection for a while and this is essential.

Started it straight away, spent 4 hours last night just cleaning up the resin. Just need to get my 109 for Aces High done then I will crack on with this.

Hi Steve and Rowan

I really envy you! .. well, instead of enlarging my stack I try to finish something .. the Fw 190 A-4 is almost done, the Hellcat is taking shape and the 109 A too .. and then there is the Storch which is somewhat frightening

do not forget to post reviews and in progress reports

cheers

Nice haul Steffen!

The Quickboost parts look distinctly like the goodies included in the German edition of Eduard's Royal Class Bf 110.

I know the feeling of dwindling finances - apart from buying too many kits, I spent a bundle on new recording gear the other week. But we all need new toys, don't we!

All the best

they are, but what was first: the royal class or the resin parts ..

sadly the RC only has one set of Resin parts and I have a 110E that needs some stuff too. I need that Aeroclub stuff because else I would never build that Revell Spit IXc (re-issue of Hasegawa)

It was a good day today .. got an invitation for a job interview next week ..

Hi gang

Sometimes life is just going to bite your a$$ ... I've waited for over 2 months for a kit, then I called the shop whats up: answer everything fine shipping immediate. o.k. two weeks later another call with a plea to ship it immediately or to cancel it and to inform myself whats up ... I got no info so I assumed it is cancelled (two weeks passed). Two days ago I ordered the colours (that were also in the first order ) again plus some other supplies that I will need soon. Today arrived a parcel and guess what: yes, the 3 months ago order ....

now I will have 5 bottles of Gunze H15 ... doh

o.k. here is the kit .... which I would have rather postponed until I earn money again ... let's hope things work out (got a 2nd interview invitation today)

Barf, err Steffen out

Hi Steffen (Pheww! Got that right!)

Great news on the second interview! Go for itl!

Eduard's Shturmovik is a really good kit to add to your admirable stash - and GS H-15... well, to mis-quote Mal, "You can never have too much Gunze H-15!" What colour is it, by the way? - You might have Europe's only stock!

All the best

Hi Rowan

Yeah, I know the Il-2 M is great .. thats why I keep it .. only the timing is bad (walletwise)

I ordered some quantity of that colour (light blue BTW) because I need it for my F-2A (Mitsubishi that is) .. I have colour mixes from a fellow modeller because the Hasegawa instructions are wrong (I testsprayed it on my model and it looks crap) so I want to mix enough to have a spare if someting goes wrong ... now I can mix colour for a whole squadron or even a group. .. what the heck .. have to get over it.

Many thanks for your wishes! A 2nd chance is always good ... hope one of the turns into a practical chance ... fingers crossed

with a can of Perri-air

Hi Terri

nice additions to the collection and very sad to hear that you got such a bad packaging. Is this the eduard kit? ... maybe you should rather contact them?!

I build one or another occasional WW1 model too .. and being from Schwerin a Fokker is a must. I got myself the "Der rote Kampfflieger" edition (thats the title of a book by MvR that was widely published in the 1920th and 30th .. it inspired the title of the kit ... BTW this Red Baron thing is a British invention and not German .. do I degress ) .. but maybe I get that dual combo too .. I want to do Wolff (F.I) and v.Tutschek ... but there are so many more nice variants .. e.g. Kirschstein's heavily striped bird.

all the best and good luck with the missing sprues

Hi Terri

Since it sounds like you bought the kit in your LHS, you could also go back to exchange it or ask for a refund. Hopefully, Accurate Miniatures will come good and send the missing sprues.

All the best

Rowan
