Nice haul Steffen

I very nearly bought the Revell re-boxed Albie this week, but I'm having to be extra careful how much I spend these days. I'll be interested to see how the Pegasus Hobbies '190 turns out - there could well be quite a decent kit lurking in there.

All the best

Rowan

Cheers Rowan

Well, the Revell boxing is quite nice. Decals for Kissenberths Black D.V and Udets silver Albatros. Plastoic is white (glad it is not black) ... The direct comparison with the new OEFFAG is quite devastating though. The new kit almost has no tool gap so there is little (if any) cleanup to do. The struts sprue on the D.V has a pretty large offset which will be hard to clean up otoh.

The Fw is surely no competitor for Tamiya, Hasegawa or Eduard. But it is not targeted at the same group so there might be some sale though. Looking forward to the P-40B/C that was recommended by someone who seems to know .. we'll see.

@Damien: I got my credit card bill today .... main aliment will be plain rice for the rest of the month .... "wer das Eine will, muss das Andere mögen"

all the best

Hi Luciano

Happy birthday for yesterday! I hope you had a great time!

Could you do a review of the Planet Models Seafire for us? I've nearly bought the kit on a couple of occasions - I'd love to see more details of what it's like.

All the best

Hi again

Luciano: Happy birthday! Wish you all the best! ...... and that is a great haul

Just in is the latest products from Bombshell decals. I bought myself a set of P-38 markings - I do not intend to use the beautiful nose art, but rather the well print stencils for my twin booms campaign entry. For my pal Volker I bought a set of the B-26 Marauding Esquire girls

all the best

Hi again

Good grief - they're coming in thick and fast these days, and Postie was almost groaning under the weight of this one! Dragon haev kindly sent us their latest 1:32 Bf 110:

I reckon all these things to review are a conspiracy to prevent me starting my F-80. Poor Jean-Luc must be feeling lonely in what's fast becoming his "solo Dual-Build"!

May I ask something??

Is the Dragon "110" series better than the Eduard ones

Nick,
I haven't built the 1:32 scale version but I'm almost finished with the 1:48 offering and must say that I prefer Dragon's over Eduards. I encountered many pitfalls with the Eduard build that I almost scrapped the kit altogether. I'm in the painting phase of the build and haven't encountered any issues other then the typical poor Dragon instructions ..everything fits like a glove and haven't had much use for fillers.

Didn't they have anything...bigger?

This is what came to me from the Eastern End of the Word. There was also a Tiger tank from AFV Club in 1/35 in the box but sadly not for me...

Today I also hunted something very nice in a reasonable price but I'll wait with posting till I get it into my hands...

Hi Nige,

Are these Mark58 display plates under your Thunderbolts?
