Hi Nige,
Are these Mark58 display plates under your Thunderbolts?
Jean-Luc
Hi Jean-Luc!
Yes, they are Mark58 bases
, does he do 1:24th yet?
With the name plates and squadron badges they really make the display stand out. I add 56th FG Association bumper stickers and give away leaflets for the 56th museum at Halesworth with 56th FG website cards attached.
If there is power available near the stand I put the portable dvd player on there showing unseen footage which I have been sent by vets and their families.
Long term plan is to have a 56th FG stand next to the Bulldogs stand with bubbletops one side/razorbacks the other from 1:44 scale to 1:32, and the VFS in the middle.(Hopefully joined by a 1:24th Razorback which VFS have planned at some point)

Hi Nige,
Thanks for the reply. I will show the pictures to Marc Toillié, owner of Mark58. He will be very proud for sure...

I pick up the following at the Elvington show
The 1/48 Accurate Miniatures Vindicator will be for the torpedo campaign.
The 1/48 Tamiya Thunderjet is to replace the 1/72nd one Sam nicked off me.
I know the Slave 1 kit should be on Model Geek but Sam convinced me to get the kit as I'm a Boba Fett fan and the price couldn't be resisted.
on the other hand Sam came home with these
She seemed to get bargains all day, the Pfiel was £18, the Skyraider was £15 and the Tiger with the figures was £25

The 1/48 one could just as easily be pinched
(also Slave 1
)
It was a really great day and lots of tempting shopping
I do quite well with bargains at shows

Somehow I have a soft spot for Israeli aircraft at the momentso I did buy a bit of AM for my F-16A Netz:
Mike Valdes mentioned the shrinkage on WP products so I just testfit the radome and it fits very good
Because I did not want to let it travel alone all the way from Asia I also bought this for my Showtime 100 project
all the best

Hi again
Wow! Some great hauls there!
This certainly is proving to be the month for Dragon's Bf 110s! A week to the day after the new 1:32 nightfighters kit arrived, Postie just delivered the "Dachelbauch" version of the quarterscale Bf 110D!
All the best

I've enjoyed this thread, and have cruised it with total awe. Where do you guy's get thet money.
I have to get to the postwomen before my wife does. Or I'm a dead man. Its not always easy. Good thing I keep the monthly statements hidden.
She wonders why I have trouble getting out of debt. That will be our secret.

Don't you know? We produce them. I use this machine:
but Steffen and Rowan are more professional and electrified the process
You just have to add the proper paint paint - different for USD, GBP, Euros etc (I reccomend you Tamiya, Agama, Lifecolor) and there it goes.
By the way: I got this today:

Nice one Michal!
Of course, showing the samples that come in is possibly a little misleading for anyone who doesn't realise it. But, just to prove I'm no more immune to temptation than everyone else, I've ordered some goodies from Model Hobbies that I hope to be able to show off next week.
All the best

Hi people,
I just got these from the postie today, from Great Model Website
Monograms B-26B/C Marauder because it comes with markings for "Mild and Bitter". I also got the Eduards interior photo-etch and seat belts.
The True Details set is for the Monogram B-17G. It is the waist position. I have the set for the nose. I have visible B-17 project on the back burner.

Just got this. Another e-bay find. As you can see by my sig I have an interest in Indonesia, and this seemed too good too pass up. All that PE looks scary though as I am yet to use it in a kit.
I have the Dragon Tony which has some, so I might practice on that first, as it has backup plastic bits for all of the PE parts !! Apart from that, the kit itself looks really nice.

Very Cool printer Michal. Alas, in my country, I will get a good spanking for using it. No need to shop for such a money making machine.

The postwomen brought this yesterday. Solid evidence that I get CC happy when I'm drinking to much.
An excellent resin kit, but I still don't know what I'm going to do with it. Never built a resin kit, and the scale is best left to the lilliputs.

And just because I'm really, REALLY greedy, and have figured out a way to take them with me to the afterlife. The postwomen brought these too

LOL... I am even sneakier and my Wife never sees the contents of boxes that arrive. The postman delivers them, my Wife accepts them, then I open the box, peruse the contents, then hide them in one of fiv huge cupboards I have in the garage.
You may be right, I may be crazy.
