Hi Jean-Luc
Wow! Great haul!

Dang the posties left me hanging ... is there any mail problem in GB again?? My Hannants order was dispatched on 3rd and I chose air mail! Steffen
Hi Steffen, I haven't heard about any UK postal dispute, if that's what you mean. I think my disappearing package was down to bad luck. A delivery of samples to distribute has just arrived from Staff_Jim, so the mail is certainly running here:

Hi Rowan,
The Loire Nieuport L.N. 10 dinosaur aircraft in Air Magazine n°49 would be a nice subject for a resin kit...
I have received two parcels today. One very big with this beauty...
I have searched for the J for quite some time!
These other kits for my collection were in the big box as well...
The small parcel came in from LuckyModel...

That was really a very good hunting. Now, having both the Liberator and the Schwalbe you can start another dual build thread: the hunter and his victim*
*this suggestion was inspired by the Schwalbe boxart

Nice haul Jean-Luc!!
Michal: The Me 262A-1a/U4 never fired a shot in anger ..... so the boxart is just fiction. Also the heavy weapon was installed to keep way outside the defensive perimeter of the onboard MGs of the bombers, so it would just be stupid to get as close to the box....
The kit is very nice though and looks pretty accurate - except for the panels forward and aft of the wheel bay which should be flat (or at least not that bulged). But probably the engine pylons will hide that.
all the best
Steffen

Can I have a photo of the mousepad please??
Unfortunately I haven't the Spitfire Mk.VIII kit anymore. I have traded it against what was in the big parcel...
The mousepad is a reproduction of the boxart. It is quite nice but very thin (no foam under the printing). There was no mousepad in the Spit Mk.IX.
The Me 262 looks indeed very nice.

Hi all
Had a bit of a spending spree on ebay recently, much to the horror of my wife
4 model kits, all in 1:48
The SM79, Harrier and Thundebolt were all less than £10 which i was really pleased with and the Blenheim was a quite reasonable price considering the resin parts that are included with the kit

Hi all,
I have received this beauty lately...
It is an old kit but it looks very good on the sprues and is well detailed for it's age. It is very similar in quality to the Arii K5Y1 "Willow".
To counterbalance the German WWII Luftwaffe book offensive by Steffen, I can present the Curtiss H-75 in the "Armée de l'Air" book I have received yesterday. It is accompanied by two WWII aviation related comics. Meanwhile I must have about 100 comic books dedicated to aviation in my collection...
Finally, try to figure out what this is...

Do217J, bought from a private seller. Nice, but I need to check it against drawings- seems a bit small. Any feedback, dear readers?

Just got my Tamiya 1/48 Jagdtiger from HLJ .... looks really nice and wow what a behemoth and I already thought the Jagdpanther was huge. Sadly no KC holder included.
No picture as it is not aircraft related, maybe later if I get some more stuff.
all the best

Hi Jean-Luc
And ... will you build it or is it just for the collection
according to one poster over at the
Drome it is one scale meter short in span (though the source is mayby not the most reliable)
Here is my haul from the 4th and 5th (the gallery was not working ...)
all the best
Steffen
