Wow chuck, those are cool, but why does she have to toss the oger into the mountain dew?!...why not some diet cola or something?!
I look forward to more of the build...hey, could I ask what color oils your using for the highlighting...you know, color names and if your custom mixing multiple colors. I want to try using oils for detailing since it seems to yield a very nice and long reworkable/tweekable effect and just wonder what stock tube colors are needed....even a brand mention wouldn't hurt. Thinner too.
Oh, I'm guessing your using actual oils and not the acrylic type-
-I say I have two kids- one son & one daughter...my wife says she has three- one son ,one daughter and one husband.
...and don't tell yourself you can't do it....it'll just take longer then

i'm still not sure how you make a modeling blog so entertaining, but you do.

Well let's see. Cartoon cleavage helps.
I just watched the Wolverine intro on Utube. I'm quite impressed. I've been a fan of Logan san for many years now and the intro perfectly captures his brutal vibe. And the claws through that dudes head? Damn! Pass the Advil. Extra strength!

Really nice to see another installment.
Your builds are really insperational. I am an armour modeller but you and your build have made me look into aircraft. Keep up the great work.

Well if Fritzi and Hannah don't make Dynamite feel better I don't know what will. Brilliant job finding that rare bit o plastic to fill in as an oil tank.
And... damn, you are quite the clothing designer aren't you. But I don't think that dress will be at any show in Paris anytime soon.

Hi Chuk (& others)
This web site might be of use
http://military-machine.blogspot.com/search?q=Me+410 (sorry will need to cut & paste)
just follow the link then the instructions and as they say Bobs your uncle.
There are many, many, many, many useful references, histories etc.
I hope this might make your build easier.

Thanks everyone! Dyna is doing much better- the wife's taking her to the vet today, hopefully to get those drains removed. Whew! I stayed home to help out Monday and got some work done on the Hornisse- some detail added to the nacelle. I've gotten some good ref on the DB601 as well, so that can move forward. Stay tuned for more.
Chris- how does that interesting site work? Do you have to sign up? I'm a bit leery....

Hi Chuck
How does that help you to detail a DB 603A? ... just curious ...
all the best

Er, I meant to say DB603A!

It's really about knowing which bit of the engine is which, so I can fake the piping and wiring as best I can, in lieu of actual technical drawings.

Hi Chuk
Well, I had to look it up myself as i was not sure if it would be 605 or 603 but the 601 (think Bf 109E) was definitely out of question ...
Although I think the piping and wiring is not the same it might work out ... sometimes it just has to look busy.
all the best

Hi Chuck
as always great update!
I want to make you aware of a possible omission/problem. Please check your refs re the supercharger intake. it has a pronounced 0 shape in the kit but AFAIK it should be rather o shaped (circular) ... forgot that on my kit too ....
all the best
