Well we're now official. "Made in Italy" starts October 1. This gives us more time to get some new recruits and take care of planning those builds and tying up other loose ends.
I'd like to come up with a ribbon. I am open to suggestions or submissions. Here are a couple of images to start us off and gauge what folks would prefer.
Cheers,
Fred

Fred,
Looks good. Can you put the flag colors behind the eagle?

Very nice, but is there any way to remove the black from around the eagle and just have it superimposed over the Italian flag?

Hi Fred!
I've signed up for the campaign and had a little time to think about your idea for a ribbon.
I've come up with 2 suggestions,
let me know what you think:
1. Your idea, but in the resolution needed for a .gif image ribbon
2. An old style faded effect Italian ribbon
What do you think?
Mike.

Hi Mike,
This one is great! I would enlist to the campaign only to get the ribbon...

I have a half-built 1/72 Hasegawa F-104S, that is the version of the aircraft built in Italy. I let it go some time ago because the fuselage needs some serious filling in some areas, so I put it apart... is it a vaild one for this campaign though?

License built aircraft really aren't in the "spirit" of this campaign.

The first one is perfect Mike. You nailed it! I didn't know how to do the correct formatting. If set the file in a way that I can copy it I'll add it to the campaign page.
(Thank you)
That shall be our campaign ribbon
Cheers,
Fred

Hi all, I've decided to enter the campaign and with something a little left of centre. I am going to build the Luftwaffe Rescue/Medevac version of the Cant Z506B, old SuperModel kit.
Looking forward to this one.

Bon Giorno!
What a great ribbon! I just have to join this campaign!
Either this beauty with Italeris very, very, very old kit (a project I've been planning for quite a while!);
Or this beast with Italeris very, very, very new kit;
Both 1/72.
Either way, it is going to be a challenge with the airbrush!
Great choice of model, Aussireg (even though I think it looks even cooler in the barbershop stripes!)

I am going to stretch myself and do 2 for this campaign. I found this old kit at the LHS recently at the right price. It has about 5 parts and looks to be an easy build so I will use it to practice some camo airbrushing.
