Would a HE 219 "Uhu" or a Nakajima J1N "Gekko" count?

If not I also have a Bf 110 in the stash also. So I would be in for this.

Nice, friendly competition or one-upmanship ? Sam is going to do 2 builds, so you commit to doing 3 !! I love it.

Seriously though, any of those 3 are acceptable Allen, thanks for participating.

Cheers, D&T

That's good to hear but I've just been informed that the 219 and 110 in the stash are actually Sam's kits

I suppose that's the problem when stashes get merged together

Sam's now torn between the UHU and the 110

Well then let me arbitrate here. You have 5 kits viable, so put them in a hat, choose 2 each to build solo, and build number 5 together. There you go, problem solved.

Hey Damian, is it a go yet? I have a 1/48 Revell 110 in the stash to build and I am game.

Hiya Rob, welcome aboard. Like you with the P-40 Campaign I just want to make sure the time frame (March-Sept 2011) suits the masses. We are up to about 15 participants already so no probs in that respect.

And the Bf 110 in the stash is what started this whole proposal. I have (all in 1/48) Pro-Modeller, Revell and the Eduard Royal Class Pack sitting waiting.

Cheers, D

Welcome aboard Antonio, excellent choice also. Check out the builds going on right now in my Twin Boom Campaign by Blackwidow and Tomcat31, and I am also about to start a 1/48 P-61 for the Pin-Ups Campaign.

We have 19 starters now, so best I submit this and make it look all proper.

Also welcome from me, Antonio! The P-61 is a great choice. And let me tell you, this Monogram cutie needs no filler, no sanding, no nothing. It's just like these Tamigawa kits, falls together by itself .....

Just kidding, man. It's a lot of work to do to get a great looking Widow out of this kit. I kow what I'm saying ..... But when it's done, you're proud you made it. I have nearly finished both of mine.

@Robert
Great to have you also in this campaign! Welcome!

@Damian
Yes, mate, 19 is a good start and it's still a year to go As you know how these things work, please make it official, so everyone can enlist.

Horrido and happy modelling

Hi all
Just signed up and will be doing Tamiya 1/48 scale beaufighter nightfighter. I noticed this campaign is on the 'campaigns proposals looking for enlistees'. I clicked on, but the page is not set up properly.

Ok, I enlisted... will do either the Fujimi 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 110 C/D or the Revell 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-2. Which one and markings will decide down the road

yes it has been resolved. The Gekko was always mine, the confusion arose when Sam said i can build one of her Eduard 110's when she took a brief hiatus from modelling. But now she back she claimed rights to it again. Worst bit is she wants my gekko so it looks like we may have to buy another one sometime down the road.

As the old saying goes "It's a woman's right to change her mind" ! In my case, and it seems in yours also, that has been modified to read "It's INEVITABLE that a woman will change her mind" We should know by now, and be well prepared, should we not ??

Anyway, I hope Sam's recovery is still on track, and if you guys HAVE to submit 2 Gekko's for this Campaign, well I suppose that would be ok

Cheers, D

Hmmm.

I've been really failing at getting any of the every growing stack of twins above my computer built. The 110s have been so patient (but so has the collection of Japanese heavy fighters next to them).

I think both camps are going to lose out to the Tamiya Mossie that just received a PE packet to compliment the kit.

Yes, I think this campaign needs a 1/48 Mossie.

Cheers,
Fred
